It could be a side effect of the methadone or even an allergic type reaction to it. I remember when I took Macrobid (antibiotic) for a urinary infection, I had a high fever (102.3) every time I would take it, so I called my doctor's office and they told me to stop it immediately because I was having an allergic reaction to it. As it turned out, my father had had this same type of reaction to it a couple years before.

Some pain meds worked but not for long periods of time. The meds for fibro had intolerable side effects for me. I have been on Methadone for 2 years now becuz i became pregnant and stopping pain meds would've put too much stress on the baby. She is 2 years old now.she's happy and healthy! My issue is that I have found out through my experience in taking liquid methadone that it helps my fibro pain for a long period of time..one dose lasts 24hrs!

I wish i had never been offered Methadone. I never noticed any side effects up untill about 2yrs ago. I have every known side effect,but the worst one of all at the moment is excessive sweating. My quality of life is zero. I sweat from head to toe most days all day. I sit with ice ,cold can's of juice sitting on my cheek's,my breasts and my wrists. Ive put on 4st in weight,and i know this wont be helping the situation. I don't know what to do anymore.

Has anybody gotten a stuffy head and "funny feeling" eyes as a side effect from SSRI's. I have had these side effects before but they went away after a month or so. I'm on Celexa and this stuffy feeling(like you are coming down with a cold) seems to be sticking with me. The med is working well except for this uncomfortable feeling in and around my eyes.

Both the same i think. I still have pain, which methadone blocked better but as far as side effects, despite the pain, i like suboxone better so far! WOULD LOVE SUBUTEX THOUGH. Canada ***** for drugs, I wish they prescribed Xyrem here too, lol! You guys get all the goodies!

How did you stop the methadone? Did you tamper off of it? I was put on morphine release caps but did not like the side effects. I had to give them the remaining amount of pills in order to be placed on 25 mg of Fent. This did nothing for me and I had some percosets left so it got me through until he upped the dose to 75 mg ever 72 hours. I feel like it only works for 2 days and I have trouble keeping it on my skin. I was told that I have to buy this $30.

It is not unusual for individuals to have side effects when they begin using a retinol product. When i met him(1990) he had already started to slow down(just weekends). I really need to know what are the most common side effects that everyone goes threw. Please i am scared. My mother just had her 1st shot of Lucentis. She has a small leak. She is also on Glaucoma eye drops. She is experiencing extreme fatigue and she said her thoughts/memory seem fuzzy. How long do these side effects last? My mother is a small person who doesn't take any other medications except for the eyes. She works out everyday. She isn't up to that either. Does she have to get these every 4 weeks or can they space them out more or lesser dose?

I do know that all antipsychotics can cause anti-cholinergic side effects which are typically blurred vision, dry mouth and sometimes trouble urinating so you could speak to your psychiatrist about that as one potential cause.

I am on methadone (prescribed to me, NOT recreational), and I really wanted an outside opinion of whether there would be any major side effects/complications because of this. You should probably contact your chemo clinic right away for advice as eye whites yellowing usually indicates liver function problems.
