I'm wondering--- You're on methadone, and you want to use heroin, but you don't know if you'll feel the effects?? Is that what you're asking? Depends I guess on how much methadone you're on, and how long you've been on it, and how much heroin you use... You might kills yourself trying to acheive the high you are looking for though. I wouldn't recommend it.

I have been on 120mg of methadone and 2mg of Xanax both for about 3 years. About 15 days ago I stopped both of them Cold Turkey and now feel really bad. I have taken my blood pressure and it is 200/101 and pulse rate is 163. Also, I am not sleeping at all at night and my legs are very shaky and almost numb feeling. Is this normal? If not, what do I need to do?

yes but only for less 5 days i came off of oxycodone and I was clean for 2 weeks then I found some methadone i had hidden I toke it friday sat sunday then I took oxycodone on mon and tues I tried to take suboxtone wed and I felt like crap so I took more methadone yesterday and this morning 20 milligrams do you know how long it take to get adicted to methadone

Any one else out there on methadone matinence or have been while pregnant? I'm 38 weeks on Monday, and I'm steadily getting more anxious for delivery. My dose is 120mg daily, I'm being induced on the 23rd and I'm so nervous my little guy will have withdrawals :( Some babies do well and go home, some have to stay and detox. Anyone else have experience with this? Thank you!

I need to find a real pain management doc in my area who will prescibe Methadone - in my case it kills two birds with one stone...pain and the "H" Where can I find a doc who will prescribe Methadone for chronic pain in my area. I don't want to be on Percocet, Soma and all that... it did not work, (therefor the H) I live in Mentor OH. Any help from anyone?

Never done methadone but I got about (18) 10 mg. methadone pills.I MUST work for the next 2 weeks...I also have some valium and some klonopin to help...Anybody got a recipe for a relatively short detox? I'm hoping that since it's a short term habit (this time)...I might be able to get off this stuff quicker..get back in the program and stay off for ever...Like I said...Scared. And to answer your question, yes Methadone kills your sex drive. I went two years without a single orgasm. When your on done you just don't have the spark you had before. It turns you into a big baby that cares about nothing but dosing everyday. The only way he'll get his sex drive back is to either taper off or quit cold turkey, obviously I recommend tapering or MSW.

I just want some encouragement as i was on subutex and got down to 6 mg and did a 2yr music degree and then aftyer the corse finished I home detoxed but it went wrong with this and that , well basically i used , and used for about 3 weeks ....

I will never, ever touch methadone again, had I been aware of what I was getting myself into prior to methadone, I would have gladly done cold turkey off oxys or rehab, as this is a long, long detox.

No symptoms before, treatment but fully symptomatic since,fatigue, bone,muscle, joint aches, chills, sweats, all of it . The hospital gave me methadone after being admitted with siezures and it works wel lon my symptoms. Is this this unusual,Legal? The symptoms of hep c are just like drug withdrawal. I never been into a rehab or detox and I got on a Methadone Clinic back in 2004 and was on Methadone for 6 years! I felt trapped and scarred to get off because of all the horror stories I have heard about the Withdrawl! Now back in August 2010 I walked of Methadone on 20mg and got on Subutex! I been on Subutex for 2 months now and I feel so Normal and Alive Again! The Methadone put 100lbs on me and I had my son on methadone in June 2005 and that experience was a nightmare!

i am currently in a rehab outpatient program im getting methadone thru them i dont feel they are getting me the help i need i have asked them to start taking me down off this crap befre it kills me but they wont isee they lied to me when i started the program they told me it would be only 30 to 90 days when i got there they all the sudden said i was signed up for 2 years i do not like this place they are all about the 13.

1 2013 an said she was changing and going into rehab , but little did I know she had got her hands on methadone and KNOWING it kills people she took it and Xanax! And it took her life and not just hers but mine and my sisters and my brothers and her husband~who can barely go on day to day without her!:( Its WILL kill you she had taken the combination a dozen times, but this time it took her! She had very high tolerance but she couldn't hold up to it!

My back kills me every day and especially if I try to walk around the store to long or something....but I'm carrying twins so that could be part of it.

Hi....good to see you back....as for going to methadone as a last resort b/4 your doc kills you it can help...it can also ruin the quality of life if you let it the real key here is to only go up until your stablized and then get off it quick....I to started low but like most addicts I wound up all the way to 150mg in less then a year and stayed on it for almost 7yr the detox was auful and it took months to get better....

can I get off of my 30mgs pill taken methadone with a short term subutex adventure. I just want off of the M-done so bad. I don't want to keep taking subutex , I just want to get off this M-done and be free.
