You can wait until the need arises and then mention it. They do not need warning to make accomodations. I would not mention it in the workplace unless you have to. I did and got ousted. All of a sudden the writing I had been doing for months was no longer any good, and that is the 'reason' they gave for ousting me. My co-workers were great, it was just the bosses.

When I told them that I have a scrip for the methedone and that I was tapering down..BOOM all the excuses in the world for me not getting the job..Right after I did a week of there classes..So I think we do get judged..But it could be a safety thing for your case..Heck let me know...

Hi NoMore Meth, I am glad that you have succeeded in the withdrawal process. I hear that Methadone is one of the worst long acting opiates to w/d from. Good for you. But now are you left with severe pain? Or is your current pain medication relieving it significantly. I guess that is the real question. You say you are only taking it at night. Are your days fairly comfortable? If they are than I would stay away from time release opiates.

I have been in the clinic on methadone for a little over 90 days now and i am on 110mg a day . Since starting i have noticed that i wake up with dry mouth and when i eat everything has no taste and i have the same taste or feeling in my mouth no matter what i eat. I asked the nurses and they tell me they have never heard of that and its not the methadone. Am i imagining this or has anyone else had this issue?

The neurologist gave me a painkiller(maxgalin 75mg) and antidepressant to try out for 2 weeks..Still i feel the pain sensation and mild giddiness as well as buzzin in ma ears..i m not able to work properly..help???

have seen some on here use sub for methadone withdrawal...talk to ur doctor for the amount of time u need to be off the methadone before u can start the suboxone...

I noticed I started having problems as soon as I started the Methadone Clinic, 3 yrs ago. I recently had an endoscopy and waiting on the biopsy results. I'm so sick of not being able to eat anything. I'm living off of oatmeal and can't over eat. But it's not over eating because I've been starving. I can only eat a small bowl of oatmeal before I take my methadone and then another small one for lunch.

I gave up because i felt i was alone and took 5 mils of methadone after being in pain for 12 days.i was in bed wacked out on the tablets the doctors gave me to detox for 10 days i couldn't do anything.and when i told my worker i had taken the 5 mils i was shouted at and that made things worse.

going to the clinic for my oc addiction(was about the same/ higher in mg as you)was the biggest mistake of my life next to starting the oc's to begin with.. trust me its not the answer I will pm you my entire story in detail if you would like.
