happy new years to you its been 6yr 9mo sisnce I had a drink or weed and 805 days since methadone the only thing we will miss tomorrow is a hangover...LOL ...

in most over the counter sleep aids and Benadryl is strong, but gives me some hangover. Some peolple have Methadone PAWS for up to 90 days. It should get progressively better now. Are you doing the Thomas Recipe found at the bottom right of this page? The brain chemistry heals faster when it has all the necessary nutrients. Are you doing any aftercare, AA, NA, Live Skills therapy, etc... I feel, for me, a lot of my withdrawals are mental.

I tried it for 3 days in a row and it really worked, however I do not like the next day hangover that I feel.. Its awful.. Its worse then an AMBIEN hangover. I feel cloudy and tired.. ANYBODY OUT THERE KNOW IF THIS PHENIBUT IS A SAFE PRODUCT?? If anybody knows of any OTC sleep aids that WORk please let me know..

I've been on Methadone for 4three years. I began using it for migraines at 19 for migraines. I didn't have insurance, and this was available to me at no cost, and did wonders fo my toxic migraines. At one point, I topped out at 50 mg/day, but I went right back down to thirty, and have been here at 20 for over year now. I'm quitting for several r 1. I don't want to live under the power of this drug anymore. It's like waking up with a hangover every morning.

I have been taking 5-8 loritabs/percs, whatever i could get. this was daily for a year. I have been sober off alcohol for 7 years. Should have know I was playing with fire. 8 days ago I took one 5 loritab, ghen My "friend gave me two doses of 20 mg methadone to help with withdrawals. Then I was cold turkey. I thought this would be over. Still sick!!! Is it because I took the methadone and it can stick around longer? Been trying the Thomas recipe. Rls easing up.

I went from 100-200mg street methadone a day for about 4 years to subutex. I thought I took subs for 16 days, but realized it was 20 days. I am now 38 days no methadone and 11 days no subutex, which I jumped off at .5mg. I don't think I am feeling the sub, but insomnia from methadone PAWS is my remaining symptom. A friend suggested taking 1 or 2mg of sub every week to catch up on sleep. I really don't want to go there.

I have been an addict since around 11yrs old and now Im 50. It all started with cigarettes and still smoke but have quit a few times over the yrs. For the past few months, every morning when I wake up, I have been waking up with what I can only describe as hangover symptoms. I do not drink at all anymore. I wake up feeling extremely sick, sometimes vomit. The thought of food...ugh. My stomach feels very weak and so I. I feel a bit light headed when standing/walking. Just generally feel rubbish. It seems to go away after a few hours (although it's beginning to start again at night just before bed).

I mean if they will give you suboxone and methadone to help...A joint wont hurt anything at all. Then again. Im an addict!!!

Thiers no question to stupied nor crazy when it comes to methadone withdrawals, & Im glad you asked this question as I to am beginning to wonder about the melatonin myself, since taking it the next day I feel a bit more tired then normal? Also Im sure theirs no connection, but I notice I sweat way more now that Im at 3mgs, & as a woman who works in the public eye, its a tad bit embarassing sweating when its 50 degrees outside! Ugh.

I've been off methadone for about 3 and a half months now and the withdrawal symptoms still haven't gone away. I was on 110 milligrams of methadone for 3 and a half years, i detoxed myself very fast (in 3 months time) but i can't stand the withdrawal symptoms any more. Its not that the withdrawal symptoms are that bad but it's bad because its been SO long and i'm now willing to do subutex because i don't know how long this will continue.

the valerian,unisom, clonipin i havent taken bcuz they all give me a gnarly hangover my body isnt used to those types of meds only methadone go figure the strongest drug around made me feel all peachy but over the counter Unisom gives me a monster hangover. Ate a full dinner chicken & rice which settled fine amazingly.

I'm a 20 year old male, slim to medium build and I suffer from Existential Anxiety Disorder, with panic attacks, depression and hypochondria. I've been trying unsuccessfully to explain to folk the worst feeling.... the feeling of unrest, unease, nothing is right, and worse you have a "I don't want to head" whatever you do its not right even simple stuff like walking, standing sitting you stand you want to sit, you sit you want to move in fact the only thing I wanted to do during tx was to go to sleep and wake up when its all over.

But we did drink some 4 days ago and I had a hangover. Is this just the remnants of my hangover of should I take a pregnancy test?
