Thanks for the response. I know that my friend has been gived scans and blood tests for autoammune diseases and awhile ago she was tested for Lupus also. She has been tested for food allergies and that came up as not a cause. No travel out of the country and lives in San Jose, CA. Middle class educated young family early 30's. She's close to Stanford so maybe she needs to get in touch with someone there.

My dr asked me to cancel my trip but if it was very necessary, he would prefer me to drive than fly. eventually, I canceled my trip. I got BFP and am pregnant now. PLESAE as you dr. I am a 58yr. old male. I have hep c genotype 3 and cirrhosis. I have been on methadone maint. and clean for over 15yrs. Alot of the time I fell as if I'm going thru withdrawal, it's AWFUL. My clinic swears they are not detoxing me, and my liver Dr. says I MUST be stable to start treatment. So why do I feel as though I don't have any methadone in my system, or very little. I just don't understand, Is it because of my liver?

Is there an alternative to going to the methadone clinic. I have a very dear friend that goes there and he is having some problems. For one he isn't sleeping and as of today he might lose his job. He fell asleep on lunch break and slept over by 13 minutes so they sent him home. If he loses his job he no longer can afford to go to the clinic, and that would mean he would have a greater chance of relapsing. Is there anything he can do that would help him sleep and keep him clean?

we have people on here who still keep going to the clinic and they clinic is giving them 1 or 2 mg it is a drop and the clinic convincing them to keep coming. it is a mind game. then you will be chained to the methadone clinic and that bottle. are you married?
