s I know want you off methadone for 3 days OR when you are in kinda bad methadone w/drawals. That being said, on my 2nd day off methadone, (was on 32mg's) , I took a couple Vicodins because of the w/drawals. On the evening of day 3, I was tested for the amount of methadone still in my system. I only had a tiny bit, (also popped positive for opiates, but explained why), and was given my dose and felt fine in 1/2 hr. Actually, felt great.

You will have to either ride it out or consider a careful transition back onto a methadone dose.The chances of getting relief from a methadone dose or any other opiate/opioid while there is still a substantial subutex dose in your system is slim to none. It may take several days from your last subutex dose before you feel any relief. The headaches and cloudy headedness should at least go away though.
If you want to revert back to the methadone you really need to stop the subutex first.
Also as a side note, Opana oral bioavailability is actually very low. Lower than morphine I believe the bioavailability is around 10 percent. However, if you reach your optimal dose, bioavailability matters little.

I've been addicted to oxycodone since age 14. I'm age 27 now and ready to put this behind me. I've lost everything because of it. I've lost my family, friends, multiple good jobs, lost my good credit, and it all of a sudden dawned on me that I'm an addict and its the source of my problems. Blood tests are not accurate for testing the active bioavailability of sex hormones in the cells and tissues. They only test what's in the blood stream. They aren't accurate for testing when a patient is using bioidentical topical creams. I've had two holistic doctors tell me this and have read numerous articles about which testing is correct depending on which type of hormones you're taking.
The ascorbate in Ferrous Ascorbate helps retardation or prevention of Fe(II) oxidation by ascorbate and to the existence of Fe(II) as a chelate with ascorbate ( vitamin C if you like ). Ferrous Ascrorbate will have a better bioavailability but you can add a vitamin C and vitamins B complex with sodium feredetate and have pretty good results.

I have no choice but to totally quit. I only have enough methadone to last til this Friday. I don't know anyone else in NC foothills that takes methadone so I can't buy more and taper. I have to keep my job so I can't go cold turkey. Sub dr. seems to be my only answer.
I know this isnt what you want to hear, but either way you do it, it is going to suck (given your consumption). It would probably be more efficient, withdrawal wise, to eat them as the bioavailability is higher orally than snorting. And it will last longer too before you start fiending another dose. I am just starting day 14 of coming off of an ~80mg/day oxy habit for 2 years, although at one point I was doing 2 sometimes 3 80's a day. I felt almost normal after about day 9.

I told my former addictions Dr. that I've been taking Methadone (10-20mg) for the last 5 weeks... I was expecting him be angry with my actions, esp. the fact I've obtained them illegally. He was was fine with it! Other than breaking the law of course, he said had I gone to a methadone clinic as I'd planned, I'd be up to 150mg my now. He said it'd have taked a year to get off it. He was happy I haven't used vics for over a month.

Yes, it is recommended you take it in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before food. Taking levothyroxine with food may cause reduced bioavailability and may lower drug levels leading to signs or symptoms of hypothyroidism. In addition, cottonseed meal, walnuts, and dietary fiber may decrease absorption of levothyroxine from the GI tract.
Often I’ve had twitching in various parts of my body, even my eyelid, and after taking a magnesium supplement (Magnesium citrate is one of the best and has very good bioavailability; Magnesium Oxide is not recommended because of its very poor bioavailability!), my twitches stopped within a day!
