m having severe PAWS with insomnia, stomach and intestinal distress, ice cold hands and feet, sweating, freezing and severe awkwardness and panicky anxiety. I feel so awful, but I'm pushing through it. I so badly want to be free of this ball and chain. It took away my severe disc disease pain, but has also stolen so much more from me. I'm just starting to feel my real feelings, and let me tell you, it's like growing up through a wierd puberty all over again.

HI and welcome to the forum and yes sweating is normal so isd the chills back and leg pain and anxiety that is threw the roof no sleep it really blows but you can get threw it pick up the 3 in 1 vitamin at wall mart for 6 bucks it is calcium magnesium /zinc take w with breakfast and 4 with dinner in a few days you will have a little relief the sleep is probablly the worst of the problem because you dwell on how bad you feel 24 7 untill it breaks just keep posting and read all the posts you ca

Need help with this sweating problem I have. Also have been vomiting twice a day around 2pm everyday for the last 5 days! Gonna tell you what meds I take and when I take them so you all can give me your input and opinions. Take methadone 60mgs at 9am every am, visterall 200mgs 9am,1pm,6pm. Propranolol 80mgs 9am and 9pm, Klonopin 2mgs only for panic attacks. About 11/2 weeks ago stopped clonodine 0.3mgs took a lot of them when I had them.

Really need a little help. I have been using Oxycontin for almost 2 years now and have wanted to stop soo bad. I was using between 200-300mgs.a day. Had a friend give me some methadone a while back and began to use only when I couldn't find anymore Oxy using on and off in small doses 1-2 10 mg. tablets. I finally built the strength to get off the opiates and have not used Oxy for 8 days now. Since I've never seen a doctor I know very little about methadone or how to use it.

I was major in oxycotton before and methadone actually helps me focus and not withdraw. If i can wean down to 10mg, then cold turkey, how long would with draws last? a week?

I stopped methadone cold Turkey because I ran out n have no.money I'm on day 4 no diarrhea yet but the sweating and freezing is killing me I'm so weak and tired. I am still very fatigue, and sleep alot. My stomach is still upset and hurts, and my head and body still hurt. My brain feels like it's in a fog. Everyday that goes by I feel alittle better. I know it's hard, but just stick to it. We're here for you.

If i have any appointments i start sweating even more and get really paranoid and anxious. This happens all the time,and 90% of the time my mum drives me there and back. I get my methadone in the mornings after my Mum and I drop my wee boy at school and that freaks me out totally as the chemist is just down the street from my son's school,and i start panicking in case any parent's from the school see me going there regularly,and suss what im doing.

I have recently quickly transitioned from methadone to suboxone. while on methadone for 10 years I was taking a quite high dose of clonidine for excessive sweating. The doctor told me to continue on the clonidine and we would taper down on that once I was on a stable dose of suboxone. He said there are no harmful interactions between the two. But whenever I take the clonidine it feels like it is kicking me into withdrawal again. severe agitation anxiety racing heart dizziness and double vision.

NOT ME!! 1 more thing, methadone causes sweating. For me it was SO GROSS.and weird only my face and head sweat.Of course the worst places!!!strangers were like omg are you ok? so if anyone reading this has this problem try using EVENING PRIMROSE gel tabs they are in with the vitamins and inexpensive.

I have been ging to a methadone clinic for 90 some odd days and I know that sweating is a side effect bout I sweat so bad that it is embaressing. Summer is coming up and i dont know what im going to do. Ill be at work and everyone will be fine but I will be sweating like crazy. sweat just drips of my face everyday. Ill wake up in the morning and my bed and pillow is drenched. I heard that a vitamin called vitadone will help somewhat but this is ridiculous!

another issue im having is sweating really bad. i never had this problem berfore i started using and while im using i dont sweat. i no wen im WD i do sweat but 3 weeks later and im still sweating like a man lol has anybody else had this isuue and is there anything i can do??

Hi medhelp friends, well, today is my 5th day off methadone and I have not stopped coughing, I don't have a cold or anything, just keep coughing like crazy!....I know for the 7+ yrs I was on methadone it seems like I never coughed at all. I know sneezing is part of the withdrawal, but coughing? I'm not sick at all, I know it probably sounds strange, but has this happened to any of you?........thanks in advance!...........

He is our new CL here and he has come off methadone and been clean for quite awhile....He is VERY helpful and has some really good tips on getting off this stuff. How is the recovery care going?

If i took my last dose for the day too early i would wake up around 2-3 am and be sweating and in full wds. I sometimes had to take another smaller dose just to stop the wds.

But I have been experiencing extreme vomiting and sweating associated with methadone and I am unable to find a doctor in Oklahoma who will help me! s going on and that you want off, and what can they do to help you. I am on day 11 of no methadone, and I am doing it at home with medical and mental health support. A blood pressure med has helped me a lot with anxiety/aggitation. I also am taking ibuprofen every 4 hours for aches. Mainly I am still having periods where I feel cold to the core of my bones, but am sweating and having goose bumps all at once. I work part time, but have been off for a week and a half.

Ive now been clean off an 8 year methadone maintenance program for 19 days today, and am pretty much ok mentally, the only thing that still really bothers me is the freezing hands and feet and sweating REALLY bad under the arms, other than that, im pretty much ok.. 1. is that caused by high blood pressure, because i check my blood pressure and it was elevated so ive been continuing to take a .1mg colonodine a day to help. wondering if i should stop that? 2. when will the cold/sweats go away?

Will Suboxone kick out of my system any worse than methadone when sweating?? Also paying for methadone is killing me my insurance wont cover it..does insurance cover Suboxone if you can get the doctor to code it as being needed for pain?...and in this case it actually IS needed for pain as well as being needed for eventual tapering off of it and being FREE of everything which leads me to my next question...is there anything that will help with the pain that is NON-narcotic?...

Ive read up on methadone withdrawl and didnt see anything about long term sweat issues.. I went thru some profuse sweating for a couple weeks after quitting that I clearly associated with withdrawl, but most symptoms where very mild as I stepped down very gradually.... I got a job yesterday and start soon, so FIRST chance I get im gettin those tests as im convinced its my thyroid... Just got a strong feeling about this one.
