Thank u for urn help.will they b able to tell that it was one time.thing n not a everyday constant use???i live in Massachusetts n am in a methadone clinic important tested weekly&haven't failed any drug tests they've done thus fat-i've always.dressed.well,im a mother of3ages16,11&3none born on methadone&none.

Tuckamore is correct. The tests that are used for drug testing are sensitive and detect all drugs in your system. What ever you have used WILL show up as that particular drug. It sounds like something shouldn't be in your system? If that's the case, you will get caught.

Hi, does anyone know much about drug driver testing in Australia? I wondered if prescribed medications for chronic pain like methadone, fentanyl etc show up on the test and what happens if it does?

THanks for the info, It doesnt show up on a 5 panel that includes testing for opiates, it has to be specially tested for and on the 10 panel they test for methadone and am worried that sub and methadone my show up the same on a test.

My son was a heroin user, and to get him off the drug, he was prescribed Methadone. He phoned me last night to say his liver was affected, he was very ill, and was going into detox treatment to get off the meth completely. He was taking gradually smaller doses, because he heard how the drug was very toxic.( I estimate that he's been on it for 5 years) It's incredible that he was put on one bad drug to overcome the first bad drug. Will he be ok after going through detox?

I have gastroparesis, and GERD, and am on methadone maintenance. I noticed I started having problems as soon as I started the Methadone Clinic, 3 yrs ago. I recently had an endoscopy and waiting on the biopsy results. I'm so sick of not being able to eat anything. I'm living off of oatmeal and can't over eat. But it's not over eating because I've been starving. I can only eat a small bowl of oatmeal before I take my methadone and then another small one for lunch.

will definitely inquire as to the reason your using methadone and benzodiazepines as the people before said,people can overdose and die of respiratory failure as the two act in a sinergistic manner. Be careful!!!

of course im prescribed methadone from a doctor,all of my obgyn's know of my dosage and everything,i kno they drug test me and the baby jus wondering if it will still be in the babys system,its not in mine and never did show up on a drug screening that i get once a month!i really didnt smoke much!and my baby wont come out sluggish from the medicine im on the baby will be closly monitored!

I recently was changed from hydrocodone to methadone and by the second day i started to develop a body rash, a really fine very itchy rash, starting on the trunk of my body and has now moved to include my hips and legs. I had taken methadone before and never had any reactions. I don't seem to find much on the net about meth and rashes, so I am wondering if the level of hydro is still up there enough to possibly be the mix causing this rash.

they cared about that they saw norco (generic vicodin) on my test and said that it was probably because I am on methadone and oxycodone for pain and sometimes norco gets mixed up with them they said, but yet, they wanted me to pee again because they siad it was random urine test day again (and they were testing others...how lucky I am..sigh). It's called rapid detox or the Wiessman Method. They sedate you and flush a solution through your blood to clean it of drugs. It can be dangerous and I have seen a high relapse ratio. I know of one person who is successful so far after rapid detox. they got home f eelinh great. the next day the anxiety and depression hit hard. He had lots of support when he got out. I feel the same about rehab, it's a good first step, but you need to have more than that.

Hi every one i went to a mental doctor yesterday, he put me on prozack , i couldnt take that while i was on methadone, it was not to be used with methadone, for anyone thats still on methadone please, look up drug interactions when takeing methadone google med. interactions, there is alot of meds you cant take with methadone including some blood pressure meds.

depends on how many and how long you've been taking it.......lots of water exercise, metabolism are all factors........stays in the system for a few days......a good week and you should be fine......I hope. When is your test and how many and how long? Nauty............

I have had chronic pain for almost 6 yrs. now. When it first started, I saw every sort of doctor and had all sorts of tests done. It cost alot of money, time, and they never found out what was causing it. Plus, some of the doctors got very rude when they couldn't find anything. About 2 yrs. ago the pain started to be more manageable. I was able to do things without always hurting. But about 3-4 months ago, it got worse again. The pain is awful.

I know how you feel. I go to the only clinic here that takes medicaid, and they do drug tests every time we turn in a urine sample, and then report you to DSS. I was sooo afraid that my pee at my first appointment would show up my marijuana that I used to smoke regularly through college. But it didn't :) just make sure your OB office doesn't do those crazy drug testing at every visit. And in case some one tries to judge, I DO NOT smoke any longer.

I'm pretty sure methadone would deff show up in drug test. It's a strong long lasting drug.

I just Lost getting 4 take homes a week, because I was told I had the methadone metabolite but not testing positive for methadone itself. I take my medicine every day at the same time, and have been on methadone now for 4 years now. And apparently this has happened more than once to my drug screen. . . I know I did nothing wrong. I was on heroin and then started taking methadone. Got into some legal trouble and knew I needed to get clean to avovid jail. I have 2 to 3 weeks before court so I went to a doctor to get on siboxone cause I heard it doesn't show up on opiod drug tests. After my 3rd attempt, failed again. Each time I was sent into immeditately near death withdrawals. I want to just give up and go back to methadone but if I get drug tested through court it will show up.

Hey everyone, Im on methadone now about 4 years and i have been feeling depressed and taking panic attacks as of late. My grandmother knows a drug called venlafaxine but dont know what it could do if im on methadone. I have seen other posts where people were on both drugs and said it worked great.
