hi again, i didnt realize that you have pcos but anyways im trying to get pregnant also and my dr gave me metformin 1500mg a day and for my understanding it helps balance out your hormone so that you can start having regulated periods and once that happens you'll start to ovulate but some women take metformin along with clomid i haven't started that yet i want to see if i can get pregnant with out the clomid i've only been on metformin for a month now ,but if your dr perscribe it f

What type of exercises pcos woman can do during pregnancy?Or pcos woman should do walking only in their pregnancy time?She is taking rest .I am worried about her. Please give me answer she can start walking and exercises?If she can do exercises means what type of exercises prefarable for pcos pregnant woman?

He wants me to try Clomid 100mg's next month. Maybe just to see if my follicles are maturing or responding to the Clomid....Not sure - but thanks so much for the advice and hope!! heya guys, i was diagnosed with pcos about a year ago and was already trying to conceive, ive recently been put on metformin a dosage of 1500mg a day, it has started to regulate my periods but im spotting in the middle, was wondering if anyone else is on metformin and has this problem? Also my partner thinks he has a low sperm count didn't know if there was anyone else with this problem?

I am just wondering if any women have PCOS and have conceived, and how the pregnancy is going? I have been trying for 4 years with no success and I am starting to get a little depressed since I have pretty much ovulated with every month of meds.. the other thing is I can not keep track of my ovulation and periods because I am so irregular, any suggestions on how to be able to know when you ovulate without having to buy test every month.

Hello I also have pcos. I havent had any problems with my pregnancy as im just entering my second trimester. I did however stop taking my metformin medication when I found out I was pregnant even though they said it was still okay. I didn't want to chance anything. As long as you get past the 1st trimester all your worrys go away mine did at the second ultrasound and seeing the baby wiggle around gave me alot of reassurance. Good luck!

t like that idea and my friend said that her doctor put her on metformin (she has pcos though) and if not pregnant in a couple months, she is going on clomid...Does Metformin help you get pregnant? Anyone who has any insight on this that is willing to share, it would be greatly appreciated!

you are not having your periods because of the PCOS and the Metformin is very effective with PCOS dont worry your dr knows what he is doing and this will help getting your period back, but make sure you dont rush things , it takes sometime

I got my lab work drew today, and a ultrasound. I have PCOS. I took clomid 100mg and on metformin 1000mg. The nurse told me I have 4 mature follicles on one ovary and a few on the other. Also that I had ovulated on my own so keep doing what I am doing. What is next????

I have been on Metformin ( a GYN drug that induces ovulations...basically makes you extra fertile. I went on it when I was so completely stressed that I stopped ovulating for one month) and now my period is a bit late. Its usually on time and I took a test two days ago at my 7th day of missing my period and it came back negative. However, I have been researching and some will take a test one day and then a few days later it comes back positive.
