Hello, I've been recently diagnosed pre diabetic. Is it possible that this is causing a recurrent hard to treat yeast infection? I've tried Monistat and Diflucan. Neither work. It feels better at first but then it's right back with a vengeance. I've had many yeast infections over the years and never one that just wouldn't go away. Thoughts?

I took Flucanozole as i thought its yeast infection. Also experiencing mild heaviness and pain in breast, extremely hot hands and feet since this morning and mild cramps.....cramps been there since the start on BC. If its just yeast, you can use one of the over the counter remedies like Gynelotrimen. If that doesn't work, or if your symptoms get worse, you definitely need to get checked. No need to be embarrased to talk to the doc about any or all of this stuff. You can safely talk to mom about a yeast infection too, as nuns can get those too.

If I have a bad yeast infection or and it itching is driving crazying ill sit on the toilet and pour some listerin down there it helps a lot. Might burn if your scratched to much so have a large cup of water ready to pour on it.

s safe to take for a yeast infection/other infections throughout your pregnancy. I had a yeast infection a couple times while pregnant, and I took the cream from the pharmacy that was prescribed. It's best, IMO, to get it properly diagnosed as it could be a different vaginal infection (unless you're positive it's yeast) and get it treated. At the very least, your doctor can advise you on what brand/type to take OTC.
