I was on medication after removal surgery but my prescription lapsed and it was not renewed. I let it go, the doctors didn't realize and somehow it just fell through the cracks and got lost in the shuffle. Needless to say, I am now back on regular thyroid medication. I greatly appreciate your information to my question and if you have any additional insight, I would welcome it. Thank you very much!

He has seen dentists, jaw specialists (wears a night mouthguard), had an MRI (clear), had acupuncture and seen a chiropractor. All to no avail. I know that I'm an alcoholic, and have been since I was 10. When I was a kid, I used to get into my mom's wine and beer, and later got with friends with the same interests and started developing my drinking career. Avoid those foods which you feel are increasing your symptoms. Stop smoking, eliminate alcohol consumption, and avoid caffeinated beverages and spicy food. Regards.
Also on fertility medicine Femara and thyroid medicine, typing to get pregnant. I need some fruit to take Metformin. Just Metformin is making me more nauseous and discouraging. So I eat one date fruit with every Metformin i,e just after swallowing Metformin. Is this okay?. Also I eat grapes now whenever I feel like need more energy to move around. Is that good?
I lost my apetite after started Metformin. So trying to be more on fruits.

You should ideally avoid alcohol completely if you are on metformin. This is because it can precipitate acidosis and increase your blood sugar levels. You can however ask your doctor about taking an occasional drink in moderation. You doctor may allow this depending on your blood sugar profiles and diabetes control. It is generally recommended that people not use metformin and alcohol at the same time. Taking metformin and alcohol together can increase your risk of developing a life-threatening condition called lactic acidosis. Talk with your PCP if he/she permits "small amounts" of alcohol while taking metformin. If he/she does, you better have explained what "small amounts" means to them before you blindly consume too much alcohol.

Just reading some of the posts and after talking to other sources, i got the impression that alcohol consumption whilst on interferon is worse than drinking pre treatment or after treatment. We have made major modifications to our diet since then - vastly reduced alcohol consumption, elimination for now of potatoes, white bread, white pasta and quick sugars etc, reduced consumption of anything mid range or highish on the glycaemic index and increased consumption of veggies.
