Avatar f tn Hello, Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar n tn There are many things that can change a cycle late ovulation, usually caused by stress, change of diet, many things.your cycle is still in normal range.but yes i can see how it effects you trying to concieve.have you tried vitamin B6 this is good for getting your cycle on track,as for trying for 6 months with no success.that is a short time really.can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.
Avatar f tn Thank u so much, the most anticipated period came today, u were correct, the doctor had told me it was becos of the stress and the pills. he also said my cycle has changed from the whole process.
Avatar f tn It is quite possible because studies show that mot women especially those with a regular cycle ovulate 14-16 days before their menstrual cycle and if my math is right u had sex with this other young man day 13 and/or 15 of your cycle which would of been your fertile period and sex with your boyfriend during your non-fertile period. So sorry to say sweetie you have some explaining to do.
Avatar f tn Stress can affect your body in many ways from eating, to not being able to sleep, it can mess with your hormones and menstrual cycle, it can affect blood pressure and heart rate, and so on. Try to relax. You can always take a home pregnancy test to rule out being preggo.
Avatar n tn Just wait...she'll come around. Stress, a lot of sexual activity, or a lot of regular physical activity can delay it. Starting a new medication or birth control can also delay it. Sometimes it just becomes irregular. For me, having an abnormal period has always been normal. I think it came like clockwork for maybe 6 months out of the 20 years I've had it.
Avatar n tn t rule out the possibility that your cycles becoming irregular might have occurred independently of stress. menstrual cycle irregularity may have contributed to the stress. before i trained in ob/gyn and infertility at yale, i trained in psychiatry at harvard, so i'm a great believer in the mind-body connection. it's just that the mind and body are so interconnected it's rare mind causes body problems without body problems also contributing to mind problems.
1147609 tn?1263583431 My menstrual cycle was 25 days two months ago and 23 days this cycle. Now here's the background: I've always have perfect 28-day cycles. I could even judge with quite a bit of accuracy whether they would begin in the morning or in the evening. After a second trimester miscarriage three years ago, they went back to normal in two cycles. After the birth of my son (and while breastfeeding) they went back to normal in two months.

Avatar f tn I am looking for anyone who has knowledge or experience with Suboxone and affects on the menstrual cycle. I have been taking suboxone prescribed since january. My periods have been relatively normal since, 3-5 days, light, sometimes normal. Last month (march) I only got a one day verrry light period. I have not had anything since. Avatar f tn //www.webmd.com/women/why-is-my-period-so-random#1. Stress is on the list of things that can cause menstrual irregularity. Other things also include if your routine is changed, if you have been sick, if you exercise too much, if you've had any trauma either physical or emotional, if you have lost or gained weight. You also can look at your hormone levels and thyroid. Those impact irregular cycles as well and a blood test at your doctor's office could determine if this is the case.
Avatar f tn Hi! I'm 19 and having inconsistent menstrual period. I'm currently studying abroad and sometime I feel reluctant to eat. My BMI is lower than normal (42 kg and 157cm). Last summer, I go back to my home country and manage to regain my regular cycle (heavy flow for 3 days , then getting lighter to the end, the whole period usually takes around 1 week) on July and August. However, on September, my period become very light and shortened into 4 days.
Avatar n tn HI! You could still be pregnant. Sometimes the ovulation predictors are inaccurate. Unless you start a normal menstrual period, I would still recommend that you take a pregnancy test. Good luck!

Avatar f tn I have been on my menstrual cycle for 3 weeks now and i'm starting to get worried. Should I be? I was in the hospital recently with an abscess in my throat and the day after I was released I started my period and it is now 3 weeks later and I am still bleeding and passing alot of clots. A friend told me it could be my body getting rid of all that infection from when I was in the hospital. I am still worried though. Can you give me some advice?? PLEASE????
1695263 tn?1306431092 There are lots of different reasons why your cycle would be different then your normal ones. The most easy things you can ask yourself are: Any added stress? Change in your diet? Could you possibly be pregnant? Or where you? I know when my husband and I first got married we got pregnant right away not that far along and I miscarried and it felt like your period you just had. My period lasted about the length yours did and it was really painful.
1335749 tn?1277369421 Usually it is a chemical in the brain causing anxiety and not hormones, but... Some women are more sensitive to hormonal fluctuations than others. For many women, anxiety issues appear for the first time during periods of hormonal change. For other women, hormonal changes intensify previously existing anxiety symptoms. Anxiety is one of the most common symptoms of Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS), post-childbirth, and perimenopause (the period of time before the onset of menopause).
Avatar n tn Hello, Menstrual cycles are considered normal from 21 to 35 days. However stress can also make periods irregular. Other causes of irregular periods could be due to hormonal imbalance, stress, chronic illness, polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid gland disorders or diseases, pituitary gland tumors or cyst, galactorrhea, prolactinomas etc. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn (fall 8 weeks ago told a sprain and MRI showed undisplaced fractured talus). I have a 26 day cycle menstrual and I am now 5 days late. Home preg test is negative yesterday. Can a MRI alter the normal cycle?
Avatar f tn Emotional or physical stress can significantly impact your menstrual cycle. Stress hormones can interfere with the hormones that regulate your period, causing delays. Lifestyle Changes: Any significant change in your lifestyle, like diet or exercise, can also affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal Imbalance: Hormones play a crucial role in regulating your menstrual cycle. Even slight imbalances can cause delays or irregularities.
Avatar m tn In March 2010, I fell down from a swing, since then I am experiencing irregularities in my Menstrual cycle. I have consulted a doctor, she prescribed me a medicine named "Primolut N". As long as I take the medicine, my cycle gets regular for that month. Then from the next month, it gets irregular again. What should I do now? Looking for your advice and suggestions. Many thanks in advance.
