Avatar f tn If you keep a written record of when your menstrual cycle starts and finishes, you will find a pattern and can then work out roughly when to expect the next menstrual cycle. Best wishes.
Avatar f tn Your cycle doesn't go by the calender. It goes by the days.
Avatar n tn According to my last record of my menstrual cycle which was 11/21/2007. I had my first u/s and it shows that I am 7wks and 6days. My OB/GYN states that she sees that baby but does not see a heartbeat. She now wants me to had a d & C in the next couple of days or so. She says that if my cycle was normal then it is safe to assume that my pregnancy will not progress. Why does this happen? What can I do to prepare myself next time?
Avatar n tn there is no way that you can become pregnant during your menstrual cycle. if you desire to become pregnant, start taking your temperature every morning, and record it. around the middle of your cycle you will ovulate, and your temperature will spike. this is a good time to have intercourse. you may also want to begin using Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPKs) to find out when you are close to ovulation. they are available at any drug store or places like Wal-Mart.
Avatar m tn I suggest you keep a written diary for the next 2 or 3 months to record your menstrual cycle and also jot down any mood swings which can sometimes happen about 10 days before a period. Also keep a note of any changes like tender breasts, fluid retention as well as exactly how your periods are - light, brown, pink show, heavy, clotty and so on. All these will help give a picture to your doctor should you need to see him if your periods do not start to be "normal" again.
Avatar f tn I have been having my menstrual cycle for over a month now and it's starting to smell like metal or iron. I also have this pain on my right side. It's not a heavy flow but it's messing with my lifestyle. What should I do?
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar n tn I was wondering why I get so sick with my menstrual cycle, the first two days are the worst, I feel like I'm gone to pass out. Is there any I can take to prevent these sickness.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
Avatar f tn I went about 6 months without a cycle but now am in the 5th week of a menstrual cycle. I am TIRED of it and ready for it to end but no end in sight!!! Anything I can do or just tough it out knowing the end is near?? I am taking vitamins and trying to eat right but not really exercising, just don't really feel like it.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar n tn I am on day 38 of my menstrual cycle. I normally go between 26-28 days on my cycles. I have taken 2 pregnancy test with a negative result. I have NEVER missed a period without being pregnant ( 2 pregnancies). I have been taking Lexapro for the past year. I have stopped cold turkey due to was not sure if I was pregnant. My concern is not having a period with a negative result on a pregnancy test. I have been feeling dizzy, small cramps, tired, and moody. I am so confused. Anyone have any input?
Avatar f tn Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
