Menstrual cycle moon light

Common Questions and Answers about Menstrual cycle moon light

menstrual-cycle

Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar f tn Is it unhealthy (for the girl or guy) if you have sex while on your menstrual cycle?
Avatar n tn My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old. After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem. She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days. She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots. I am worried and seek advise. Thanks & Regards.
Avatar f tn I just stopped my menstrual cycle and noticed light cottage cheese like discharge I have no fishy smell a little red .
Avatar f tn Hi! I'm 19 and having inconsistent menstrual period. I'm currently studying abroad and sometime I feel reluctant to eat. My BMI is lower than normal (42 kg and 157cm). Last summer, I go back to my home country and manage to regain my regular cycle (heavy flow for 3 days , then getting lighter to the end, the whole period usually takes around 1 week) on July and August. However, on September, my period become very light and shortened into 4 days.
Avatar f tn My menstrual cycle on average lasts for 51 days. My period last 3-4 days and is heavy the first day then the last three days it's very light, so light I could just wear panty liners with no worries. I have discussed it with a couple friends and none of them have this problem. Is my menstrual cycle okay or is it unhealthy?
Avatar n tn Hi, Every once in awhile you might have a light period, especially if you are in your teens, and your menstrual cycle isn't as routine as a woman in her 20's (or older) might have. Sometimes stress, change in medications, weight loss, dieting, hormonal imbalance, or excessive exercise (etc.) can have a direct effect on our periods.
Avatar f tn I love my moon cup! So much easier and cheaper! Use a liner till you get used to it.
Avatar f tn Back then my period was irregular. As of now, my period has been quite regular but with a cycle of around 30 to 35 days. My period has always been really heavy that the first 2 days could soak up 4 maxi pads per day each. My period now has started to soak up less pads and I was wondering if this is a good sign or something I should be worried about. Thanks for reading and would love to get responses asap.
6726276 tn?1421126668 But yes, I do believe there is a correlation with the moon cycles and moods. I think that may be even more true for women, as they have a mood cycle that goes with the moon, physically. Women seem to be more in touch with their feelings and mood as well, I have seen that world wide, not just in Western Civilizations. Let us know how it goes, we can compare notes.
1695263 tn?1306431092 There are lots of different reasons why your cycle would be different then your normal ones. The most easy things you can ask yourself are: Any added stress? Change in your diet? Could you possibly be pregnant? Or where you? I know when my husband and I first got married we got pregnant right away not that far along and I miscarried and it felt like your period you just had. My period lasted about the length yours did and it was really painful.
Avatar f tn Like I said my cycles are normal n last 7 days December was not normal 1 1/2 days of light and in January 1day of spotting WY question again is (Which cycle will a doctor count as my real last menstrual cycle -November (regular 7day) or December (light 2 day not my regular)
Avatar f tn I had intercourae on Jan 30, at the tail end of my period (CD 8, I still had some dark red spotting in the AM, which has tapered off to light spotting by end of day). I still had some light brown spotting on Jan 31. On Feb 4 midnight, I had quite a lot of clear, watery stretchy CM when I went to the bathroom so I suspect that I was ovulation then. I don't track my temp and have never tried checking my cervix, so mucus is my only reference.
Avatar n tn Before the 4 months my cycle was light and lasted about 3 days, however this cycle has been on for 4days with heavy bleeding and clots. Can you tell me what is going on with my body.
Avatar f tn For the past two months I have had 2 day light menstrual cycle and before that period I spotted for two weeks straight until my period. I was wondering if this should be something I should be concerned about and yes I am sexually active and not on any birth control. My periods are normally 4-5 days and changed last year.
Avatar n tn wait to see if you miss your next menstrual cycle and then take a pregnancy test. anytime you have unexplained bleeding that is not your regular menstrual cycle there is a chance of pregnancy.
934213 tn?1244757926 Now, I knew my period was coming up real soon since it usually falls on the full moon. This last saturday before the full moon, I had started to feel extremely lightheaded and shaky. Usually when this happens it's because I need to eat. I felt much better about an hour after. The next day it happened again, so I ate. However, on monday even after eating, I felt lightheaded off and on all day. Walking around seemed to help.
570004 tn?1226980196 Over the past several months (since about July – a month or two after I started on levothyroxine) I've noticed that my menstrual cycle is about a week shorter than it used to be. It was about 36 days before, but now it seems to be about 28 days at most - if anything it's getting shorter; not going back to the way it was before. Does anyone know if this is normal / related to hypothyroidism? I am 31 years old. Thank you.
