937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
2187580 tn?1338053554 You should have your period about once every 28 days (or slightly shorter/longer) lasting no longer than 7 days. You may need to look into taking some birth control pills to help regulate your period so something like this doesn't happen, but if this is the only time it has, your doctor may decide to have you track it.
Avatar f tn since then I check my TSH regularly.it is normal now I dont take medicine .since last 6 month i am getting my cycle longer again(60-65 days).we are planning for a baby.will there be any difficulty due to my irregularity.
Avatar f tn The chance of getting pregnant revolves around your ovulation cycle. You can look it up on an ovulation tracker. Put in when your periods are and it will tell you when your best/worst chance at getting pregnant is basically.
178590 tn?1294176767 Brown Eyed Gurl, It's not uncommon to have menstrual cycle length change a little after a miscarriage, like a pendulum that has been knowed out of kilter, it takes a while to get back into its rhythm. Cycles up to 34 days in length, however, are normal. The last cycle sounds abnormal though. This may be a one time thing, so wait to see if the cycle normalizes.
Avatar n tn can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.once this is sorted then concieveing should be easy.since you will know your ovulation.failing that bed from cd12 onwards.until you are confident you have ovulated.there are plenty of signs you can use to confirm ovulation, all the best.
Avatar f tn Hi--I'd like to see a menstrual cycle/TOM tracker able to overlay the wt tracker, as this tends to skew the scale quite a bit for most. Thanks!
Avatar f tn If you're in perimenopause, that's no unusual since the menstrual cycle goes haywire!
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar f tn ve shifted to a longer menstrual month (such as, 32 days from period to period)? If your cycle has shifted and is a little longer, but is regular at that new number of days, I wouldn't worry at all. If it's getting longer and longer every month, that is more unusual.
Avatar f tn I want to go by the ultrasound because it matches when i ovulated better than my last menstrual cycle. My Dr goes by the last menstrual cycle.
5132597 tn?1364074607 I'm 19 years old and have a hard time getting wet when aroused. Even if I do there is barely enough to notice or make a difference. I'm not on any birth control and have a normal menstrual cycle. What's going on and what can I do to...I don't know, get more wet and stay that way longer?
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar m tn Chances Are You Probably Are Not Pregnant Unless You Normally Ovulate During your Period. My Period Is Only 5 Days Long Normally But My cycle Ranges From 26-29 Days... How Long Is Your Cycle.
Avatar f tn I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. I will wake up drenched & my bed & bedding ruined every month atleast once. (My bed is peroxide drunk & I don’t think my bed can handle anymore peroxide.
Avatar f tn The flip side of this is, my whacked out menstrual cycle may not be caused by the thyroiditis effects after all...The chemo may have induced premenopause...Sigh...Ah well..win some, win some...:) Have a great day all!
