My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old.
After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem.
She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days.
She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots.
I am worried and seek advise.

Marshkash,if you are experiencing monthly period. That is a regular cycle! Even if its a late or earlier date!
No i havn't taken a pregnancy test i was thinking i should but i've read implantation only last's a couple days and i've had this for aleast four days darkish and lightish. I've been on it for about 2 years now and never had anything like this and i've missed some pills in the past and still never had a weird cycle.

Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle.

my periods. It worked each time. Then, beginning earlier this year, I started having mid-cycle bleeding. My periods were regular, but in between each, I would have 2-3 days of spotting. It has been anywhere from brownish to reddish. Today it was pink. I was not taking any birth control pills when this began. I have notified my ob/gyn about this as well, and they have prescribed birth control pills for me to take to regulate my periods. I have not started these yet.

Hi, I was wondering if someone can clarify this for me. I have a 24 days menstrual cycle and I'm always regular but this month has been a bit crazy for me. My last cycle began on 2/3/15 and I ovulated on 2/15. My husband and I had Intercourse on 2/12. I had some pink discharge 2 dpo and my period is not due until Friday the 27th (2 days from today) but I started spotting some brown stringy discharge last night and this afternoon I have pink discharge.
