Avatar f tn It is not uncommon at your age for menstrual periods to be irregular, so I would wait up to about 6 weeks before being too concerned. My husband and I are trying to conceive baby #2, our son is 1 year old. We have not had any luck conceiving, which is frustrating because we've been trying since our son was about 3 weeks old.

These women thus don’t ovulate or menstruate and cannot get pregnant. The condition when a woman does not have any menstruation at all is known as amenorrhea. A large percentage of these menstrual problems are related to insufficient progesterone during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, which is called a luteal phase defect or corpus luteum insufficiency.
