I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

when i was younger the 2 days leading up to my menstrual cycle became stressful for me as those 2 days were the worst for my asthma.

i usually get periods that last very long (20 days) and come too early, i know that it is menses blood as i can mediaclly diffreniate between the normal vein blood and menstrual cycle..

I am perplexed with the length in which these symptoms last. Two weeks prior of my menstrual cycle, I start to experience abrupt feelings of sadness, depression, or anxiety; sometimes there are reasons for them (whatever it is that elicits these feelings doesn't bother me as much on a regular day), other times, there is no actual reason, it's just a strong pang of hopelessness or anxiety.

I was curious if it was related to the MS that I miss a menstrual cycle during flare ups. Sometimes even 2! I am not sexually active so pregnancy wouldn't be the cause. Also sorry I just seem to post my questions and just that without any history of myself and my illness. I promise I will get to that once Im feeling better.
