Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

1722885 tn?1309474656 ve never had my period, I was just wondering if I can still have kids even if it never comes. I always dreamt about having kids and this is very frightening my boyfriend for 8 years really want to have kids and I really would like to have kids with him sometime soon in the future. He doesn't know about this set back in my life and I'm afraid to tell him that I maybe can't give him the one thing he/we want most in the whole world.
Avatar n tn A menstrual cycle starts with ovulating then your period so your menstrual cycle can start at any time generally if you are breastfeeding it comes 2 to 6 months after giving birth. So what I would recommend is have sex as much as possible because you have a 3 day period to get pregnant. And if you want to get pregnant as soon as possible try to get pregnant on your first menstrual cycle.
Avatar f tn Here recently I have been having some issues with my menstrual cycle. I bled for 3 weeks. Stopped for a week and a half. Started again for another week. Was off for a week. And just today I started bleeding again. I have recently tested negative for all STIs. I'm not sure what is going on here. This is highly unusual.
Avatar f tn I would like to see a tracker that covers the whole female menstrual cycle including mood, fatigue, water retention, weight, bleeding, pain. This would help me assess whether some of my difficulties are related to hormones although not obvious PMS.

Avatar f tn I have a friend who every time her menstrual cycle starts she gets very ill. She has prolong vomitting. Today she vomit up a yellow substance that looked something like the yellow part of fried eggs. Every month during her cycle she goes through the same thing. Fatigue, vomiting, and heavy bleeding. She do not have any kids.(not sure if this is any help) She cant keep anything down and she stays in the bathroom all day because of the heavy bleeding and more so the vomitting.

20922415 tn?1661860103 It is the main and vital hormone that plays a significant role in menstrual cycle health preparing the body for conception and development of pregnancy. 1. Progesterone throughout the cycle: During the reproductive years, the pituitary gland in the brain generates hormones (follicle-stimulating hormone [FSH] and luteinizing hormone [LH]) that cause a new egg to mature and be released from its ovarian follicle each month.
Avatar f tn Hormones play a crucial role in regulating your menstrual cycle. Even slight imbalances can cause delays or irregularities. Underlying Health Conditions: Conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) can cause irregular periods. Since you're concerned about fertility and menstrual health, you might find pcosferticure.com a useful resource.
Avatar n tn Good luck Autoimmune progesterone dermatitis (APD) is primarily characterized by a recurrent skin rash that varies in severity depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle. The rash generally appears during the second half of the cycle when levels of the hormone, progesterone, begin to rise and it subsides shortly after menstruation.
Avatar n tn i only was on my BC for one month and then i stopped, before that my menstrual cycle last a perfect 28 days . can my menstrual cycle be prolonged now?
1663373 tn?1333635989 Before I found out I had chiari my bad headaches always coincided with my menstrual cycle. I am almost 4 mo post op from decompression surgery. My neck is almost fully recovered I still continue to have minor headaches everyday but hadn't had a huge headache or migraine until 2 days ago. I am recovering from a 2 day mind blowing migraine that also is related to my cycle. I am coming to the conclusion that I am lucky enough (trying to be positive!) to have chiari and hormone headaches.

20000695 tn?1488217942 I am perplexed with the length in which these symptoms last. Two weeks prior of my menstrual cycle, I start to experience abrupt feelings of sadness, depression, or anxiety; sometimes there are reasons for them (whatever it is that elicits these feelings doesn't bother me as much on a regular day), other times, there is no actual reason, it's just a strong pang of hopelessness or anxiety.
Avatar f tn If you have some weight to lose, losing it can oftentimes normalize the menstrual cycle and resolve the insulin resistance that is the hallmark of PCOS. Best of luck to you!
1142551 tn?1264736930 I was curious if it was related to the MS that I miss a menstrual cycle during flare ups. Sometimes even 2! I am not sexually active so pregnancy wouldn't be the cause. Also sorry I just seem to post my questions and just that without any history of myself and my illness. I promise I will get to that once Im feeling better. But Thanks to everyone that has welcomed me on this forum.
