last month i was a week late and this month i am two weeks late. should i see a dr or is it possible that hormones are causing the delay in menstrual cycle?

Sperm can hang around for a few days though and the egg takes a few days to journey through the tubes. I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?

Ultrasound calculations are programmed to correspond to the lmp dates to avoid confusion. SO, if your LMP puts you at 7 weeks, then you are 7 weeks pregnant, and your due date will be 33 weeks from now. It's just a lot easier to go with the LMP dates! Good luck!

I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?

You have to see an OB every month from about 8 weeks through the 2nd trimester and then every two weeks for a month and then every week until you deliver (add that up, its a lot).
