Avatar f tn I am very sexually active. My last period was three months ago and when I was two weeks late I took a urine pregnancy test that came back negative. Could I be pregnant or something else? Like menopause? I don't know which one would be better. Please help.
Avatar n tn I WOULD GET THESE HORRYIFYING EPISODES OF DIARREAH, I WOULS BE SWEATING PROFUSELY AND IN PAIN FOR HOURS. IT DIDNT HAPPEN OFTEN EVERY FEW MONTHS JUST ONE OR TWO DAYS EACH TIME. HOWEVER, WITH IN THE LAST 11 MONTHS HAVE LOST 40 POUNDS (SIZE 8 TO A SIZE 2) W\O TRYING. I WEIGH LESS TODAY THAN I DID IN 5TH GRADE, I DONT LOSE WEIGHT (I HAVE PCOS). AND I MADE THE COMMENT WHEN I STARTED DROPPING WEIGHT IT MUST BE BECAUSE THE DIARREAH. WELL, FEB.
Avatar f tn So I've been on Provera for only a month. I've only known I have PCOS for a month. I had my period while on the Provera and I thought it was good, that now I can start getting better. Then I met with my doc and she asked how things went. I said painful, but the Provera worked. The original plan was to have me take the Prover for 10 days the same dates each month to keep my cycle regular. Now, she's saying she only wants me to take it every three months and see how things go.
Avatar f tn Hormones play a crucial role in regulating your menstrual cycle. Even slight imbalances can cause delays or irregularities. Underlying Health Conditions: Conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) can cause irregular periods. Since you're concerned about fertility and menstrual health, you might find pcosferticure.com a useful resource.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar n tn Thanks, i get Pap test every years and my three test in a row have came back Normal, trust me i m going to the doctor, but i was trying to get an early result than to wait until September, but i will let u know what the doctor said!
Avatar f tn Hi there and welcome. Well, sorry for your miscarriage. Those always stick with us in terms of emotions surrounding them. What did your doctor say regarding your lack of period for 3 to 4 months? You aren't pregnant so something 'else' is causing this. I had very long cycles for a time period in my late 20's due to a slow thyroid. Actually it was every 3 to 4 months! and I had pms symptoms during that time. Quite frustrating. Could you finally be having a period?
1147609 tn?1263583431 My menstrual cycle was 25 days two months ago and 23 days this cycle. Now here's the background: I've always have perfect 28-day cycles. I could even judge with quite a bit of accuracy whether they would begin in the morning or in the evening. After a second trimester miscarriage three years ago, they went back to normal in two cycles. After the birth of my son (and while breastfeeding) they went back to normal in two months.
Avatar n tn i am a lady aged 23. i only have my periods once in three or four months. am i normal or is there something wrong with me. some times i bleed a lot.
Avatar f tn I am facing issues in menstrual cycle since last 6 months, It comes delays, I have a boy friend we did not sex yet I am facing issues my menstrual cycle delays for 6 to 8 days every month I am worried, what should I do.
Avatar n tn I am a 31 year old woman who stopped using the birth control pill about six months ago (after being on it regularly for 8 years). My husband and I are trying to conceive & for the last three months my menstrual cycles have been approx. 35-37 days long. I've read that anything over 35 days can indicate problems with ovulation. Is this true? Given that I was on the pill for so long, does it take time for my cycle to normalize?
3166367 tn?1343912934 If so pls pls go to an ER and let them know this... I ignored it for 2 months ( my cycle was coming every 2 weeks) and after that I went to the ER. They did an unltrasound and discovered a tumor ( I myself had been trying to conceive as well) Well that tumor turned out to be an Immature Teretoma. grade 3 stage 3.. a very rare form of ovarian cancer. I have had surgery to remove it and Im now going to a fertilty clinic to preserve before I start chemo...
Avatar f tn I am in the midst of menopause. I went about 6 months without a cycle but now am in the 5th week of a menstrual cycle. I am TIRED of it and ready for it to end but no end in sight!!! Anything I can do or just tough it out knowing the end is near?? I am taking vitamins and trying to eat right but not really exercising, just don't really feel like it.
Avatar f tn This month, I was actually already thinking of taking a pregnancy test but then it came today and I was a bit disappointed to see it. I just want to know does having sex delays or disrupt your menstrual cycle? It has happened to me three month now ever since I had sex. Thanks.
Avatar f tn I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. I will wake up drenched & my bed & bedding ruined every month atleast once. (My bed is peroxide drunk & I don’t think my bed can handle anymore peroxide.
Avatar n tn have you tried vitamin B6 this is good for getting your cycle on track,as for trying for 6 months with no success.that is a short time really.can take couples years to concieve.however since your cycle is a bit wacky,i would concentrate on getting that regular first.once this is sorted then concieveing should be easy.since you will know your ovulation.failing that bed from cd12 onwards.until you are confident you have ovulated.
Avatar f tn Every month, about a week before my menstrual period starts, I get severe constipation. It started about two years ago, but it wasn't so bad as it has been in the past three months. I'm almost twenty and my menstrual cycle sometimes changes, but this could also be influenced by my high testosterone level. I have lived in three places my whole life, three different states, but moving around back and fourth doesn't seem to correlate with anything.
Avatar f tn it is normal to have periods the first few shots but be carefull because for every one shot it takes six months for your body to get back on track and when I stoped taking it I gained a lot of weight
1721912 tn?1309394544 You have to see an OB every month from about 8 weeks through the 2nd trimester and then every two weeks for a month and then every week until you deliver (add that up, its a lot). Then when I deliver, for a normal, uncomplicated vaginal delivery my OB charges about $4200 which doesn't include the hospital charges. That is just BEFORE the baby is born. Expect to pony up an additional $10,000-12,000 in the first year and a total of $286,000+ to raise a child to age 18.
Avatar f tn yes, the 24th was the first day. I don't know how long your cycle is but every now and then they change. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. It happens to everyone.
Avatar f tn I have a question about my menstrual cycle...I had my last period April 25th and now i haven"t had my period and its May 29th so im 4 days late...so if my period is late can there be a chance that my period comes in the beginning of June so i would have skipped period for May? Really confused???
Avatar f tn s having a long cycle. I had this-- period was every 3 to 4 months. My issue was two fold--- my thyroid was working slowly (called hypothyroidism) and I also had a hormone imbalance (my body was naturally producing too much estrogen). It was for about a year and a half that I had these issues and then I went back to normal. So, probably the best thing to do is to wait until it has been 3 months since a period and then see your doctor.
