Avatar m tn Thanks louieforlaughs that was really helpful. MJREY i appreciate your effort.
Avatar n tn Based on a 28 day menstrual cycle, you should start testing using the Ovulation kit 5 days out from your likely ovulation date which is Day 14 of your menstrual cycle. Therefore you should start testing on Day 7 of your menstrual cycle. You should test every day from Day 7 at the same time of the day to ensure the most accurate results.
Avatar f tn BUT with my first pregnancy, my levels were really low. My doctor went by the first day of my last menstrual cycle. If I did that this time. I would be 7 weeks 5 days. Dies this make any sense? Is it possible to be further along than my hcg levels show? I'm getting a new doctor and wonder if they will go by levels or last period.
586373 tn?1312031791 Thanks for the suggestion. We'll be adding the ability to mark items on your chart in the near future. When that feature launches, you'll be able to mark the beginning of each menstrual cycle. Since other women may not find it necessary, it'll be at your discretion. We'll let you know when it's available.
Avatar n tn The fertile period of a woman is determined by analyzing her menstrual cycle with an ovulation calculator or fertility chart. On an average the menstrual cycle is a 28 day cycle. During the 14th day after a period, the ovum is released.12 to 16 days after a period is said to be a woman’s most fertile period. For more queries and assistance visit a gynecologist. I sincerely hope it helps. Best luck and kind regards!
Avatar f tn ve also had some additional pms symptoms as well (breast tenderness, rumbling stomach) over the past several months in addition to my regular ones. I feel I may be early perimenopausal. My last cycle was the longest at 40 days. I had pms for 20 days. So, I decided to chart my current cycle's temps on fertility friend to see when/if I'm ovulating. I'm on cd34 and they have not not detected ovulation and frankly I don't see a thermal shift.
Avatar f tn also you are ovulating 14 days before your next menstrual cycle. so count 14 days back from your next menstrual cycle. and start having sex a couple days before then.
1268578 tn?1274884217 So im trying not to worry too much. The only thing that bothers me is I start having menstrual like pains sometimes 9 days before my period which also makes me worry my hormones are messed up. Thanks for your advise greatly apprecfaited. Are you ttc too? or have you already?
Avatar f tn Like how many days the cycle is? Do you mean your whole entire time or does it go by how many days you have your period for? I have mine for 4-5 days. What if I don't know how long my cycle is? What can I do to figure it out?
Avatar f tn Hello Gigi. First off, what I'm about to say isn't to harm you but rather to inform you. Do you know how ovulation works??????? I am only asking because I don't know how young you are. The reason why I'm saying this, is because your ovulation cycle matters a LOT when things like this happen. Ovulation, is the day when you release a egg and it depends on how long your menstrual cycles are. The average cycle for a woman is 28 days but it varies from woman to woman.
Avatar f tn It may vary sometimes, but you should be able to get an average number if you are using the ovulation tracker or menstrual cycle tracker on MedHelp. If your cycle is truly 38 days, then that means you ovulate later than someone who has a 28-day cycle.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
1859662 tn?1320091625 ll probably want a few copies of the blank chart because it will take at least a cycle or two to figure out your ovulation pattern.   Before ovulation, your BBT probably ranges from 97.2 to about 97.7 degrees Fahrenheit. But two or three days after you ovulate, hormonal changes cause a rise of 0.4 to 1.0 degree in your BBT, which lasts at least until your next period.
Avatar f tn It is more than 2 years now and i am still not able to get Pregnant. my menstrual cycle has gap of 35 days. Kindly advice me for the same.
Avatar n tn You count the length of your cycle from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period. The length of your mentration does not calculate. Once you know the average length of your cycle, you can find out when you are supposed to O.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
Avatar f tn Most women ovulate 14 days before the start of their period. Sperm can hang around for a few days though and the egg takes a few days to journey through the tubes. So a week either side of ovulation is also a good time, or bad time depending on whether you are trying for a baby or not.
Avatar f tn I'm in the process of receiving AI. My mentrual cycle is 28 days, however after my first AI Procedure I've had a second cycle in the same month! (Full blown bleeding). Going forward, which cycle do I now calculate from, the first one, or this second one? And it obviously now means, I've lost the "egg" and didn't "take"...? Is it necessary to still do a pregnancy test?
Avatar f tn I have a question about my menstrual cycle...I had my last period April 25th and now i haven"t had my period and its May 29th so im 4 days late...so if my period is late can there be a chance that my period comes in the beginning of June so i would have skipped period for May? Really confused???
Avatar f tn I had my period 1 week and 4 days ago. Few days ago, on saturday (now monday) I got period like pains and the following day I started getting brown discharge. what could this mean?
1582332 tn?1296924865 Not to mention I go a few days than stop and than a few days later it starts again. I have always been clock work 28 days. It is so unpredictable now. I think many times I am going into early menapause. My head is worse too. And I have always had bad cramps but now I have large blood clots I really think this messes with hormone levels which has to mess with the cycle. And like they said. It could even have an autoimmune trigger too.
