Avatar n tn s Rule will give a due date. IF, on the other hand, you have irregular periods or a cycle that is longer or shorter than the 28 day average, Nagele's Rule is not as accurate. This calculator will allow you to enter in the CONCEPTION date http://www.justmommies.com/duedate.shtml If your baby was conceived on Feb 14 this calculator indicates as due date of Nov 7 :) With my daughter, my LMP was in July or August of 1989....she was actually conceived in October of 1989.
Avatar f tn t remember my last menstrual cycle exactly, except that it was maybe a week before the January 22nd guy. I checked conception calendars online to calculate when I would have ovulated, they said my expected period would have been January 24th which I didn't have a period then though my periods have been kind of irregular. So it's still most likely the guy on February 6th right?
Avatar f tn My last menstrual cycle was dec 20 and the previous one nov 13. As yall can read it was a 37 day cycle, im a lil bit irregular but I do have a period every month. I have been ttc for the past 4 months and nothing. On my previous months I get all the pregnancy symptoms but they dissappear. This month has been a little bit different.
1380252 tn?1279892799 How can the Ovulation Calculator be improved to help those of us with irregular periods with a cycle of more than 60 days? Can we still use the Calculator?
1385697 tn?1279557599 Most women do make the mistake of counting the last day of their period as the first day of their cycle, but actually the first day of the period is cycle day one. Typically ovulation occurs sometime around cycle day 11-16. The menstrual period is always 14 days after ovulation--if it occurs. For couples trying to conceive, we recommend testing for ovulation with ovulation predictors starting on cycle day 10 or 11, and then test until positive.
Avatar n tn My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old. After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem. She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days. She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots. I am worried and seek advise. Thanks & Regards.
Avatar f tn I have a question about my menstrual cycle...I had my last period April 25th and now i haven"t had my period and its May 29th so im 4 days late...so if my period is late can there be a chance that my period comes in the beginning of June so i would have skipped period for May? Really confused???
Avatar f tn I really dont know how long my cycles are because they are irregular (I have PCOS) I looked at an online calculator and it said my cycle was 34-35 days.

Any help would be much appreciated .
Avatar f tn Marshkash,if you are experiencing monthly period. That is a regular cycle! Even if its a late or earlier date!
Avatar f tn pregnancies are based off of the last day of your last menstrual cycle....
Avatar f tn It is not uncommon at your age for menstrual periods to be irregular, so I would wait up to about 6 weeks before being too concerned. If you continue to have irregular periods, you may need to consult with your doctor--it is possible that you could have polycystic ovary syndrome which is a catch-all term for a hormonal imbalance that causes irregular periods. Often irregular periods are treated with contraceptive pills to regulate the cycles. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm currently pregnant and due March 1. My LMP was May 25th but my cycle was probably a bit irregular since I had recently gone off the pill in Feb. I was single when I conceived and had sex on 5/11 with Guy 1 and then I started sleeping with Guy 2 on 6/8 (we're still in a relationship). I had ultrasounds at 8, 9, 12, 18, and 28 weeks and all had a confirmed due date of March 1.
Avatar f tn usually i was regular and my menstrual cycles lasted for 33 days but this time it was irregular due to stress. please if anyone could help me to calculate my fertile period for me.
Avatar f tn Hello, Femitrone and morning after pill when taken together can cause withdrawal bleeding and irregular menstrual cycle and it should not interfere with the working of the emergency contraceptive pill. However keep a check on your periods. If you miss them then do a urine for pregnancy test after 1 week of your menstrual cycle. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn Ovulation, and therefore conception, occur 14 days before your period was due and you can get pregnant from making love up to 5-6 days before ovulation happens. If you have a 28-day menstrual cycle -- which is assumed by many healthcare providers -- that means that you ovulated on day 14. If your cycle is a few days longer, you probably ovulated after day 14, and your baby may arrive a few days after your estimated due date.
Avatar f tn I know that doctors go by your last menstrual cycle to estimate your due date however mine are irregular. My last cycle was on February the 3rd and I had no more periods after that I had sex on the 22nd of march that's when I got pregnant. They are using my conception date to estimate my due date however if I go by my conception date I'm only pregnant for 38 weeks not 40. I'm so confused am I due on the 12th of December or the 25th?
Avatar f tn Ovulation does not occur during your menstrual cycle. Because the sperm can live in the body from 3-5 days, pregnancy can occur from having intercourse DURING your period. Estimated ovulation occurs anyhwere between 11-21 days following your menstrual cycle, or 12-16 from when you expect your next cycle. However there is no one way to pin point ovulation. It generally differs from woman to woman. All the best.
Avatar m tn So, if you have any kind of eating disorder, you can certainly experience irregular periods. Excessive exercising or straining your body also leads to irregular menstrual cycle. This is the reason why most of athletes encounter missed periods. Many new mothers do not resume their regular periods until they have completed their breast feeding. So, they can possibly have irregular menstrual cycle. Consuming excessive alcohol can also disturb your hormonal metabolism.
