Avatar f tn can anyone tell me if they experience thyroid fluctuations throughout their menstrual cycles? i'm on 112 mcg of synthroid for hypothyroidism from silent thyroiditis. i'm 30 and have a 28 day cycle. it's like clockwork. there's no variation. i'm not on any birth control, so everything in that regard is my natural body hormones. from the first day of my last period to ovulation, i get worsening hypothyroid symptoms.
Avatar f tn They haven't done the rabbit test for years now... Most home pregnancy tests are designed to detect Hcg (the pregnancy hormone) as soon as 5 days before your missed period. At 8-10 days late you should be fine to test now. Use the first lee of the morning, as it is more concentrated & will contain more of the hormones if pregnant. May I ask what is your age?
1437126 tn?1284099058 I now shift to homeopathic treatment and to my surprise I was pain free during the menstrual cycle. I searched from the internet and found many websites and blogs saying Endometriosis is cause due to secondary dysmenorrhea. Will endometriosis be cured if secondary dysmenorrhea is the root cause?
1572016 tn?1295761959 now this pain and the flow of blood used to lower my blood pressure and as a result i felt dizzy and then things blacking out and finally fainted.. do you too experience pains dear?? it might be due to lack of iron also.. very good that you take iron.. you can start taking vitamin b12 also and when you feel like you are going to faint try to get a little amount of glucose immediately.. that helped me.. hope it works for you too.. good luck.. god bless..

Avatar f tn My mum, who normally has high blood pressure, is suffering for the last three days from fluctuations in her blood pressure. Sometimes it is high (145/80) and sometimes 110/60, and sometimes 120/80. She feels dizzy and faintish. She is a diabetic and has cholesterol. What could be the cause of this?
Avatar n tn (((Hugs))) Ranae Regular exercise and keeping fit and healthy can help regulate the menstrual cycle. On the other hand, exercising too much and overstressing the body can have a negative effect on the hormones to the extent that menstruation may cease.
Avatar f tn My weight fluctuations quite largely through the course of my cycle. Before I had been to the doctors twice in one month. At the first app. I weighed 113, the next was around 119. He said that the other time must have been a misreading, though I'm pretty sure they measured the correct weight both times. I don't know how I could gain and lose that much, or what would cause that. I'm at a loss. Any ideas???
Avatar n tn Exercise can greatly increase the blood pressure. Are you on blood pressure medicine? Blood pressure as high as 200/120 is serious and can lead to a stroke. Normal blood pressure is 120/72 and with heart disease most doctors want to see it lower.
212161 tn?1599427282 It is not unusual, over the course of a day, to have fluctuations in your blood pressure. It is also not uncommon to have your blood pressure rise when you are worried or anxious. I think that is what is going on with you. You were feeling anxious, your blood pressure was elevated and that made you more anxious. Therefore, your blood pressure went even higher. The reading of 95/55 is nothing to worry about.
Avatar f tn Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
Avatar n tn Hi, Whole going into menopause some women can have a change in the menstrual cycle like scanty bleeding or prolonged cycles. Also hot flashes, sweating etc can be felt. Dryness of vagina can also be a feature of pre-menopause. Correct indication is however given by your hormonal levels. The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn Yes it could be a side effect of your birth control or if it's around your menstrual cycle it could be your body's reaction to your period ie.
Avatar n tn I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Avatar m tn I am 20 years old eight months pregnant and after suffering from extream heat issues and light headiness i was told to check my blood pressure which was at 147/35 than checking my heart rate was at 103 per min. Is this within normal limits or should i be concerned...or is this natural at this stage of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. I will wake up drenched & my bed & bedding ruined every month atleast once. (My bed is peroxide drunk & I don’t think my bed can handle anymore peroxide.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know how much and how frequently your levels can fluctuate? Can you go from hyper to hypo in the same day? or even multiple times a day? I assume it's not like blood pressure but i'm not sure.. Anyone know?
Avatar f tn your menstrual cycle just changed and thats not normal. i have a friend who havent had her period 6months straight. and she is healthy. so no worries for you. your are IRREGULAR when it comes to your period. unlike me, im regular, never skipped a month. regardless of giving birth. the cramps thing, just excercise or do sit ups 2weeks or a week before tour period. if you dont know when your period will arrive, just do brisk walking or cardio excercises. :D hope this helps.
