Okay...so I was diagnosed with anemia in November, and my doctor put me on Feosol(ferrous sulfate) in December. I haven't gotten a menstrual cycle since probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Does the feosol or sulfate supplement counteract cycles and cause them to stop?
i would truly go to the doctor and insist they refer you to a womans hospital it does not say if you go for regular smears i have had almost black discharge but it is towards the end of the period good luck i would not ignore this truly
I had a miscarriage back in 2011. I had to keep getting my blood treated every week after because to see if my pregnancy hormones went away. Every since then i have been having irregular cycles. Now in 2013, it has been 3 or 4 months since I had my period. When I went to my doctors appointment last week they ran a pregnancy test and it came out to be negative. But this past week I have been spotting and when I take a shower small little blood clots come out.
and it took 9 months before my cycle became regualr again. Since christmas my period is either a little late or seems to last a couple days too long. It starts with heavy spotting and then it seems like a regular menstrual cycle starts and stops then discharge, then begins again. Im so confused and it only seems to be blood on the bottom part of a tampon.......can anyone help me understand...
I've been having my menstrual cycle every 12-14 days for the last 3 months. My normal cycle is 5 days and I flow light however, this last one I was on it for 10 days!! Now I am will be starting again, because it's been every 12-14 days. What can this be? I am only 38 years old. I went to the doctor they took my blood, she is testing for Thyroid & Enima. I don't think it has to do with either one of them, but I will soon find out.
Okay, on Feb 17 I was put on a hormone replacement treatment for 10 days,so I finished it February 24. Well, my doctor said I would have a menstrual cycle No more then two weeks after taking the medicine. I saw a new doctor and she says there are 2 things that stop you from having a menstrual cycle 1 menopause and pregnancy we know it's not menopause cause I'm only 18. So if I have No cycle by Wednesday this week I go for a blood pregnancy test.

Whats happening to my cycle! At first i thought maybe and hopefully this is implantation bleeding for couple weeks i seemed to be waking up wanting to throw up, tired all the time, moody, headaches/dizziness spells, low in energy and crampy then a couple days ago my boobs got more tender and my nipples went darker and on the 26th (four days ago) I noticed i had a very light browny white dischage and by the next day it was abit darker with pink blood when i whipped that lasted only two times.
I went about 6 months without a cycle but now am in the 5th week of a menstrual cycle. I am TIRED of it and ready for it to end but no end in sight!!! Darkened (brown) discharges are often the result of residual blood and/ or tissue that's been leftover from a previous menstrual cycle. This doesn't always happen after we have our periods... but it does, on occasion, happen. can blood clots come out of your mouth right before getting menstrual cycle? I woke up this morning (5:20am) with a blood clot just sitting in my mouth. Later on at around 7 am I got my menstrual cycle. This is the first time that this happens. I checked my mouth and theres nothing wrong with my teeth or gums so I can't understand where the blood clot would have came from. any ideas?

My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old.
After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem.
She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days.
She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots.
I am worried and seek advise.

i get REALLY dark blood sometimes too.. they say dark brown blood is "old" blood, and bright red blood is fresh... so it's probably just old blood.. i think you're fine and dont stress about it.
