Avatar n tn can blood clots come out of your mouth right before getting menstrual cycle? I woke up this morning (5:20am) with a blood clot just sitting in my mouth. Later on at around 7 am I got my menstrual cycle. This is the first time that this happens. I checked my mouth and theres nothing wrong with my teeth or gums so I can't understand where the blood clot would have came from. any ideas?
Avatar n tn My wife has been experiencing irregular menstrual cycle for the last 06 months. She is 34 year old. After having checked with doctor and subsequent test, she found thyroid problem. She started taking medicines as per dr prescription for the last 5 days. She was expecting her periods on Dec 20 this time but she started light spoting from Jan 03. After 03 - 04 days she started heavy bleeding with medium size blood clots. I am worried and seek advise. Thanks & Regards.
Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage back in 2011. I had to keep getting my blood treated every week after because to see if my pregnancy hormones went away. Every since then i have been having irregular cycles. Now in 2013, it has been 3 or 4 months since I had my period. When I went to my doctors appointment last week they ran a pregnancy test and it came out to be negative. But this past week I have been spotting and when I take a shower small little blood clots come out.
Avatar f tn I will go thru a super plus tampon and super pad in two hours if that! I also have very large blood clots! I was wondering if this is concerning where I need to see doctor and what can it be? P.
Avatar f tn I got my period this morning and i noticed that i have a lot of really big blood clots. The first few were just on my tampon when i took it out but then i had several large ones that when i took my tampon out the fell into the toilet. Ive never had this before. My medical history that has to do with my mentrual cycle is i have a history of ovarian cysts. None of them have been severe but have been painful to the point where they have landed me in the hospital.
Avatar f tn did you ever find out what was wrong with your menstrual cycle? I have exactly the same symptoms!!
Avatar f tn my midwife said as long as its pinkish with discharge no clots or fresh blood or heavy bleeding u r ok. because ur body try to stop u having a menstrual cycle as u r pregnant so light blood appears which should disappear after a while. i started light pinkish discharge 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm and then eventually it stopped and when they did my internal check up there was no blood. so i would recommend if you think its heavy just go to emergency asap.
Avatar f tn Some menstrual cycles last longer than others. Recent stressful events, change in diet, etc can all affect your menstrual cycle.
Avatar f tn s always been heavy (bled through tampons, overnight pads, flooded menstrual cups within 2-3 hours) with a lot of clots ranging from pea size to golf ball size and severe cramping that even with pain meds has me lying in bed. Bleeding lasts 8-12 days. I have tried multiple types of birth control (combined hormones and progesterone only) and always have breakthrough bleeding that is just as heavy as my period. Last time I was on birth control, I bled for 22 days straight.
187316 tn?1386356682 This type of bleeding is ordinarily seen five days after conception, so it is easy to see why a woman would confuse this bleeding with her menstrual cycle and there may be some difficulty in determining when the last menstrual period was. Implantation bleeding is not all that common and usually is not more than a slight spotting or a pinkish red colored mucus, but occasionally there is more bleeding associated with it.
Avatar n tn 25, yet on the following days there are still mucus and clots coming out,,,then by jan 5, there is a red blood that seems to be a first dose if the menstrual period. but its stops..followed by some kinda yellowish or brownish mucus..until then no menstration occurs, tried to test with a preg test but shows to be negative..is it normal? what do i need to do?
Avatar f tn Hello, I have a question my husband and I had sex it was my first time and it was protected sex I took plan B a few hours after I have a 28 menstrual cycle my period came 2 weeks after we had sex a week earlier than expected but it started as dark brown then turned light red and vibrant red it was not as heavy as usual but it did last 7 days and it included blood clots does that state that I'm not pregnant? I would really appreciate a response thank you.
Avatar n tn t ever really noticed anything with my periods -but occassionally there would be clots. After testing it was found I have a blood clotting issue for which I was told to take baby aspirin. I went on to have a healthy pregnancy and have a healthy son. Have you had any testing done - has your dr said anything about taking baby aspirin?
Avatar m tn Since I consume the Metformin , I have been having the periods with blood clots for 3 weeks continuously. I got scared and stopped the medicine. But the period is still there. What should I do?
Avatar f tn I have been on my menstrual cycle for 3 weeks now and i'm starting to get worried. Should I be? I was in the hospital recently with an abscess in my throat and the day after I was released I started my period and it is now 3 weeks later and I am still bleeding and passing alot of clots. A friend told me it could be my body getting rid of all that infection from when I was in the hospital. I am still worried though. Can you give me some advice?? PLEASE????
Avatar f tn My periods have always been extremely light and only last maybe 4 days, with 5 being the most it has lasted. But I started my period about 7 days ago and today will make it my eighth day. My flow this cycle is disturbingly heavy, and for about three days I've had watery menstrual fluid. The first day it was pinkish in color, but it had an extremely foul odor and had a few clots in it. (I use a menstural cup; the clots were collected at the bottom).
Avatar f tn Many women have clots in their menstrual blood from time to time. The clots may be bright red or dark in color. Often, these clots are shed on the heaviest days of bleeding. The presence of multiple clots in your flow may make your menstrual blood seem thick or denser than usual. Your body typically releases anticoagulants to keep menstrual blood from clotting as it's being released.
Avatar f tn Every period I've ever had I've had huge blood clots. I also get severe menstrual cramps but only the first day. This is normal for me. My period is also always right on. (I track it with an app) 28 days exactly. But now that my husband and I are trying to conceive and I've started reading for tips tricks and what to expect in starting to get concerned about the blood clots. Also the lat few menstrual cycles I've had have been way off. 3 months ago I was 2 days late.
