Avatar f tn m hoping for any quick fix with this gallbladder/menstrual cycle issue. We are going to be rounding up the cattle right before my next cycle. I so wish for a miracle....no surgery and the ability to ride with not the horrible pain I've been experiencing the last 3 months.
Avatar f tn Hello, In October 21, 2008 I went to the emergency room complaining of pain in my shoulder and abdomen. Later found out I needed an open cholecystectomy. I received my menstrual once I got home on October 31-November 6 but haven't received it yet. It's over 7 days late. My cycle has always been normal never missed unless I was pregnant. I took four home pregnancy test and they came out negative. At this point I don't know what else to do. Please help....

Avatar f tn Hi, I'm sorry for your loss; losing parents can take a long time to come to terms with :( Medications and stress are a few of the top issues that can really mess up menstrual cycles, as I'm sure you're aware. Another reason that you're cycle might be changing and why you may be experiencing sore breasts, is your age ~ what you've described isn't uncommon for women to experience between their 30's & 40's. For more info.
Avatar f tn There seems to be no connection between my symptoms and my hormones as they do not worsen or alleviate with my menstrual cycle. I am sick and tired of being so sick and tired as my symptoms have majorly impacted my life and prevented me from participating in many things as they caused me to miss over 40 days of school just since January 2012. Please please please offer any ideas or thoughts you might have, i truly am desperate.
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
Avatar f tn they have not checked for kidney problems (yet) because i have not complained of urinary trouble. no pain, no blood, no increase in frequency. the only test that he has done to address any gallbladder issues is the ultrasound, no HIDA scan yet. Is a HIDA scan painful? I do not know if he ran cancer markers. My attacks are most times in the evening. I cannot pinpoint if it is a certain food or not. I am under a lot of stress and that does seem to make it worse.
Avatar f tn So before surgery and my dx I thought all of it was due to hormones as it followed the schedule. Ovulation and period I was in bed ot urgent care due to rolling ha and my cycle was always longer. I tried birth control but made it worse. Since I had surgery I am regular and hardly even notice I don't have ha during anymore!

87651 tn?1259602403 I had 4 months of no period after my dosage was adjusted from 112 to 125 mcg a few months after the surgery, then my cycle came back to normal (or, as normal as it has been since then). Then, for some unexplained reason, this past fall, I had 3 periods in November, 2 in December, then more or less back on schedule since then. My endo checked my thyroid levels as well as FSH,LH, Estradoil, etc.
Avatar f tn I'm in the process of receiving AI. My mentrual cycle is 28 days, however after my first AI Procedure I've had a second cycle in the same month! (Full blown bleeding). Going forward, which cycle do I now calculate from, the first one, or this second one? And it obviously now means, I've lost the "egg" and didn't "take"...? Is it necessary to still do a pregnancy test?
Avatar n tn is there any danger of having my menstrual for over a week after one year of not having it?
Avatar n tn I had surgery 7 weeks ago and had my diseased gallbladder removed. But it is taking me weeks to feel better. In face, I am not better. I still have terrible back pain, and feel like it is swollen under my ribs and have pain there too. I get terrible indigestion when the pain flairs up. Sometimes it eases off, but sometimes it is so bad I feel like can't stand it. The surgeon won't help. I have heard that they forget to look for stones in the ducts. Any help?
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
