Avatar f tn Im so freaked out by my c section scar. It was a v traumatic ordeal for me to be honest was emergency section and broke my heart i had to have one. Anyways my question is what do you use on yojr scar to help it disappear quicker and how long before u could touch it im 20wk pp and still freaked out to touch it. Its the most tidy scar ever etc i know its just my aversion to it. Any tips?
1633472 tn?1299994363 It can take a couple cycles after a miscarriage for your periods to become regular again. If they are lasting longer its possible you ovulated late and wont show on a pregnancy test yet.
613471 tn?1244201788 I totally agree w Bam. After a m/c your cycle is affected in many different ways. Some women don't get their first period for mos. some don't ovulate some women get their periods and only get affected by the days being off. I would poas and see what happens from there. Let me know what happens....
Avatar f tn re mostly trying to have a child. Also, this sounds like something a little more serious than just regular cycle pains, my aunts and my mother have fibroids and maybe you're experiencing this, if so it's no big deal (I believe...at least it wasn't for them) after they saw their doctors the were each given different directions to assist with this, some surgery, so medicines, some wait and see methods.
Avatar f tn After giving birth to a beautiful baby girl last august, I had to have the D&C surgery to remove the last of the placenta left in my uterus. Ever since then, I have this very abundant and thick clear jelly that comes out, sometimes just at ovulation time and sometimes for my whole menstrual cycle, could someone explain what that is about?
Avatar n tn C surgery) i was considered very very very high risk and was on bedrest for 4 months due to preterm labor but i ultimately had a healthy baby boy on march 16, 2006 9 days over due by c-section....
1639915 tn?1378929213 I have seen my obgyn mutiple times over a the last 4 years and she has no idea why i have irregular menstrual cycles.
1927375 tn?1323017489 I had my tubes tied in mid July 2010 after the c-section of my 4th child. Here it is December 4, 2011 and my last menstrual cycle was the first week of September 2011. I took two home pregnancy tests and left them on the sink in the bathroom only to return about twenty minutes later with a faint positive sign. I then read up on it saying that if it is left more than ten minutes then it could be a false positive from an evaporation line.
Avatar f tn I've got my period after 6 wks with all 3 of my c-sections!! But yours could be diff hun. If your nursing sometimes it won't come back right away, but that was never the case for me!?!
Avatar f tn I have the same problems that you do or did with my cycle. I’ve been ignoring my abnormal cycle for a year already. I was just thinking that my body was starting to go through the change & it was like a Big Bang period blowout. But it still hasn’t stopped flowing. I will wake up drenched & my bed & bedding ruined every month atleast once. (My bed is peroxide drunk & I don’t think my bed can handle anymore peroxide.
Avatar f tn My first was 12days early so we shall see what #2 has in store for me. Unless you have a scheduled c section baby will come when baby wants to come.
Avatar f tn Yeah unfortunately x mine returned 7 weeks after my d and c I was told if nothing by 8 weeks to go bk
Avatar n tn I also, from time to time, have twinges in my lower abdoman area and mostly there is a dull ache (not cramping). I have one child now in which I had a c-section. This was my first miscarriage. I was only a couple of weeks along. Sometimes I feel like I'm pregnant again and other times I don't. I just hate buying home pregnancy tests all the time. I feel like I'm wasting money. Has anyone else experienced this?

Avatar f tn I had a c-section 10 weeks ago, and got my first period since the birth 1 week ago. I am bleeding so heavy that I am going through a super tampon every hour. Is this normal? It has been 7years since I gave birth the last time and I dont remember this happening. I am 35 years old maybe this has something to do with it. I am also nursing and I thought you dont get your period for a long time because of nursing.
Avatar f tn That way you have time to grieve and also it helps date the next pregnancy. I had a m/c in December and we fell pregnant again in March after waiting one cycle. About 5-6 weeks along we had another m/c. Now in hindsight I wish we would have been patient and waited a little longer for my body to heal properly. I have never reacked my BBT, but have heard that you start tracking on the first day of your period. Make sure to track daily and to take your temperature first thing when you wake up.
Avatar f tn To adgal: So sorry about all your losses. I've had 2 with a healthy DD in between and that was too much. I cried on the shoulder of a friend who had lost twins and then had a m/c just months before I did. I "passed it on" by e-mailing with the daughter of a friend who m/c just about a month after I did. It's good to have this site, so we can be there for each other.
Avatar m tn Hello community...What are the chances of catching Hep C from oral stimulation to a girl who is on her menstrual cycle? Has anyone ever experience this? any info or reassurance would be great!!
Avatar f tn s a 6 week wait for exercise after a vaginal birth but 12 weeks after a section to give your incision time to fully heal, cause it's not just that neat little scar on your outside but 8 layers inside as well that have all been stitched up. And even then you have to ease yourself into the exercise and not go in at fell speed.
