Depo vera may disrupt the menstrual cycle. It can cause irregular bleeding or spotting, heavy or prolonged bleeding, or your menstrual bleeds to stop altogether. After stopping depo it may take some time for your hormones to normalize. I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?

Im having lower back pains they feel like menstrual cramps that won't go away I tried a warm bath Tylenol and to relax and it just won't go away its on my right side of my lower back....

And it happened a few times before but happened off and on all day today... I guess if it continues I'll call the doc tomorrow.
I had the same problem. Switching sleeping positions or recruiting your partner for a back rub can really help! Watch your posture when sitting up. Also a hot water bottle or heating pad feels great (just like with menstrual cramps). If you don't have one, use an old dish soap bottle and fill with hot water, or take a pouch or old sock and fill with rice, close, knot and heat in the microwave for a couple minutes.
ve been getting what feels like moderate menstrual cramps. I woke up this morning with these cramps, and for the past few hours I've had what feels like really bad diarrhea cramps (sorry, tmi), but no diarrhea. They are sporadic, but intense. On top of this im experiencing hot flashes. Lower back ache, upper back ache i think its because of heavy my breasts have become. Im also experiencing sickness. For the Past week i had an increase in appetite but today lost my appetite all together due to metallic taste in my mouth. Im also experiencing extreme tiredness and craving cucumber even the smell of it which i normally hate and frequent urination. Have taken multiple urine pregnancy tests that came back negative.
