How many weeks of pregnancy should you stop feeling the menstrual like cramps (stretching of the uterus)?

I had menstrual like cramping weeks 4-6. It's perfectly normal. My doctor told me its your uterus stretching for baby. No worries! That feeling should go away pretty soon.

To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.

It's normal, especially at 5 weeks. More than likely its just your uterus stretching and prepping for changes.

Most of the time cramps are just your uterus expanding they feel like menstrual cramps. If they are worse than that though it can be a reaction to depression or medication.

are you bleeding along with these cramps? are you sure it's cramps from your uterus? your lower intestines are right 'behind' your uterus there could be something there? it could also be an ulcer in your uterus, does it hurt alot when you have your periods?

ve been having these painful cramps for almost a week now, without vomiting or diarrhea. They almost feel like menstrual cramps - in the back - except for they are higher up, and all through out my midsection. I have never had menstrual cramps that felt like this, and I'm not near my period. I would say it's similar to the feeling you get when you have diarrhea, but I'm going to the bathroom as usual, no constipation either.

I cramp slightly ( not as intense as menstrual cramps) on and off. My ob says as long as there is no bleeding or spotting, in early pregnancy cramps are normal due to the uterus increasing size to hold pregnancy.

How far along are you? I had cramps at the beginning. . They were mild though since my menstrual cramps are usually unbearable.. It's just your uterus stretching. Then I got some just recently at 18 weeks and its round ligament pain.

thwy both said to drink lots of water and that it was probably just the uterus stretching. If you start getting really bad cramps or sharp pain, go in!

I was back and forth at the doctors and they told me everything was okay it was normal and my uterus was stretching and that it's normal to cramp around the time your cycle comes on.
