Is it normal to have period like cramps during your pregnancy? Im 13 wks. I had those cramps this passed Monday, it woke me out of my sleep. It really made nervous and i checked to make sure i wasn't bleeding and i wasn't.

I am almost 5 weeks pregnant. I have been having cramps that feel like menstrual cramps. I don't have any spotting or anything but it feels like menstrual cramps.. should I be worried? I'm 18 and this is my first pregnancy.

Has anyone experienced menstrual like cramps early in pregnancy? I am almost 6 weeks and have off and on menstrual like cramps anywhere from my sides to my pelvic area. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. It has been 11 days since the cyst ruptured but I still occasionally have pain.

Just any bleeding that needs a pad to control the flow because you're still in the danger zone and craps that feel like menstrual cramps its OK as long as it doesn't turn into unbearable pain followed by bleeding but I hope that you have a full term healthy pregnancy

As long as no bleeding is accompanying the cramps, it's perfectly normal. I'm 5 weeks exactly and I'm dealing with them. Doesn't mean the paranoia has gone away though. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

why am i cramping so bad? I have menstrual like cramps al day long, no bleeding though. Went to the er and they did nothing told me to call my doctor! I just left my docs and saw a np not my doc who tells me i am listed as a threatened abortion in my charts. Why was i not told of this? Why did she not pull my blood or check on my cervix or even do a ultrasound to make sure the fetus is developing okay? I feel like a guinea pig waiting for a bad outcome.

s because the uterus is stretching and as long as its not bad cramping like menstrual Pain. Its quiet. Normal for the first trimester of pregnancy. just lay down and don't lift anything heavy if theres bleeding go to the ER.

I am 18 years old and had on and off cramping for the entire duration of my period & afterwards. I would also wait around 3 weeks to do the test because i believe that if your having cramps ( no bleeding, or spotting, or a light period) you get when your pregnant any-way becasuse of the implantation, a tip- you should always wait untill 3-4weeks after sex untill you do a test to avoid dissappointment and more of an accurate reading, OR wait untill you have missed a period, hope i have helped, just dont stress yourself of too much because that can make you not have a period, or being under

I've been asking the same questions and cramping seems to be normal in early pregnancy. When I went to my ultrasound appt. last week, I told the nurse about the cramping and she said it was very normal to feel cramps just like period cramps.

wait to see if you miss your next menstrual cycle and then take a pregnancy test. anytime you have unexplained bleeding that is not your regular menstrual cycle there is a chance of pregnancy.
