Menstrual cramps no bleeding

Common Questions and Answers about Menstrual cramps no bleeding

I get menstrual type cramps around ovulation then nothing for about a week, then the week BEFORE my period I start getting mega-cramps (no bleeding). Once my period starts I have no cramps for a few days then BAM, cramps come on like no tomorrow. I always used to get cramps only during my period. I don't get the off-cycle cramping. I went in complaining about it last week and am having an ultrasound to check for cysts, fibroids and IUD placement.
Ive been having cramps for about 2 weeks and I was suppose to start my period last week but nothing its just cramps but no bleeding. I had unprotected sex twice about 4 weeks ago & like I said I was suppose to get my period last week but nothing & I am currently not on any type of birth control so i doubt it could be any changes in my body. Is there a chance I could be pregnant? HELPPP !! D: -Thanks!
Has anyone experienced menstrual like cramps early in pregnancy? I am almost 6 weeks and have off and on menstrual like cramps anywhere from my sides to my pelvic area. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. It has been 11 days since the cyst ruptured but I still occasionally have pain.

I had cramping with both of my pregnancys. If it gets to intense or bleeding is involed than I would give my dr a call. A heating pad (not too hot) and laying down really helped me :) good luck!
Yes! I had some pretty uncomfortable cramps like menstrual cramps but a little worse and id wake up at night from them. I still get cramps here and their but they are very common.
I am 7 weeks today and I hope I am worrying for nothing but I don't go to Dr until monday. I have had cramps for 5 days now on and off all day long. no bleeding and it's in my lower stomach is this normal?
off they feel like I'm getting my period. I'm 25+4. There's no bleeding or anything. I don't know if this is normal like my uterus is stretching or it could be something else?
I've heard that having menstrual like cramps during pregnancy is normal. Mine are not that painful, and are not constant. Is anyone else experiencing cramps or have had them in pregnancy? I seem to worry about every little thing or symptom.
This is my first pregnancy and I'm almost 6 weeks and I cramp every single day but no bleeding. It feels like period cramps.
THIS IS WHAT RESERCH HAS SHOWS Cramping during all stages of pregnancy is normal, unless it’s accompanied by severe pain or bleeding. During the earliest stages of pregnancy some women mistake the cramping for their menstrual cycle. This could be due to the fact that they may experience a little spot bleeding too. Spotting and cramping are classic symptoms of implantation, which occurs when the fertilized egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus.
Been feeling abdominal pains, very similar to menstrual cramps for the past 2 weeks. not accompanied by spotting or bleeding but feels a bit moist down there, and it makes me nervous, as I am traumatized by the miscarriage I had on December 5th 2011. Acne visible: Back and face. Black spots are surfacing on my armpits too. Feeling nauseated every now and then but no vomiting - thank God. :) Generally happy and hoping that baby is growing fine and happy!
I am 34 weeks and have been getting menstrual like cramps around 31 weeks. At 32 weeks they were so bad at one point I called my OB because they were coming quite frequently. I sat down and drank some water and they only came again every now and then. They told me it was just Braxton Hix and nothing to worry about unless they became regular and/or more than four in an hour after I got off my feet. Does your whole belly tighten up when it happens?
Then it stopped for a half a day, and began bleeding heavier - like my regular period. Then it died down to a light brown again, and now it's bleeding heavier again. This has been going on for two weeks. I'm not having any cramps whatsoever - I usually don't get bad cramps anyway, but I haven't felt any pain at all. Is there anything to worry about? Is this normal?
The other night i was getting some pretty bad cramps in my lower abdominal area. When ever i go to the bathroom there is no blood in my urine its after i wipe there is a pinkish blood color and clear ..discharge? i wiped the other day after going to the bathroom and i seen two bright red blood spots,They weren't huge spots but they were pretty visible. Also there is a terrible odor.Sometimes i will wake up and just have blood stains in my underwear.Or even throughout the day.
I have this problem all the time where I get severe cramps in my lower abdomen like menstrual cramps but its cuz I haven't been able to go for a few days. Try a warm bath and maybe track bm to make sure they r regular. I know it sounds goofy but I ended up in er a few years back cuz it was so bad. Drink lots of water but still go see dr. Cramping is normal during pregnancy tho. Most of it is your body just stretching out from a growing uterus.
I am 15 weeks and have had bad cramping all day (I work on my feet all day) the cramps are low and feel like menstrual cramps. (no bleeding or spotting) I also have pain in my lower back. This is my first pregnancy and I don't know how much cramping is normal? Or when if ever its a problem. Any advice would be awesome!
I am almost 6 weeks pregnant and having alot of cramping but no bleeding or spotting is this normal?
Because this question has been posted in the Women's Health Community, are you talking about menstrual cramps? For menstrual cramps you need to have a good healthy diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and fish. Plenty of fluids, especially water. 2 litres a day is usually recommended, more if you sweat a lot. Make sure that you are well hydrated. Cut out junk foods, sugary foods, like sweets, cakes, biscuits, chocolates, sweets and fizzy drinks. Avoid using processed foods.
I had a miscarriage in April, since then I have had my menstrual cycle every month and it last 5 days (counting since day 1)this month I got my menstrual period on the 13th of Sept and today is the 24th and I still have it.the 1st 4 days was light, then i had very bad cramps and it started heavy for about 3 days, on the 8th day it's been light again and still light flow now.I'm very concern because this is the first time this occurs.
The cramps I had felt like mild to moderate menstrual cramps, but of course, no bleeding. If you get any severe pain, especially if it's one sided, fever or fainting go to the nearest ER.
