Yes! I had some pretty uncomfortable cramps like menstrual cramps but a little worse and id wake up at night from them. The best thing I found is a warm shower helped. Rocking side to side. Helped me alot. I thought something was wrong too until I went for my first ultrasound and saw bubbys heartbeat! I still get cramps here and their but they are very common.

Has anyone experienced menstrual like cramps early in pregnancy? I am almost 6 weeks and have off and on menstrual like cramps anywhere from my sides to my pelvic area. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. I had cramping with both of my pregnancys. If it gets to intense or bleeding is involed than I would give my dr a call. A heating pad (not too hot) and laying down really helped me :) good luck!

Even if there is slight bleeding there is nothing to worry about. I bled throughout my pregnancy!

t worry to much about it because that happened to me a few times and my doctor told me as long as the bleeding stopped and there is no pain in my abdomen area I was ok.

I had cramps since 6 weeks. But they were nothing like period cramps they were very mild. I am now 30 weeks still get cramps every now and then.

As long as no bleeding is accompanying the cramps, it's perfectly normal. I'm 5 weeks exactly and I'm dealing with them. Doesn't mean the paranoia has gone away though. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Yes is normal menstrual cramps I had it before at the beginning now I'm 9 month being pregnant and everything is ok thanks to the lord jesus. God bless you mami if the cramps get really strong call your doctor . Relax you should be fine and your baby as well.

I cramp slightly ( not as intense as menstrual cramps) on and off. My ob says as long as there is no bleeding or spotting, in early pregnancy cramps are normal due to the uterus increasing size to hold pregnancy.

I am 18 years old and had on and off cramping for the entire duration of my period & afterwards. I am sexually active in a monogamous relationship with no STDs & I started having some spotting three days before my scheduled period. I thought maybe it could be implantation bleeding but when my period was due I started having heavy bleeding that seem like my regular menstrual cycle and it lasted the normal amount of days (5).
