I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?

I have missed my period for more than two weeks now but i have last saw it the ending of february ps the last time i had sex was february now for almost most a week i am having cramps and no menstrual my uterus was feeling heavy on my lap now am getting cramps before this i use to have horrible menstrual pain

I think your best bet is to consult an OB. Unfortunately, from my experience and others, doctors tend to be very pessimistic about conception in your 40s. Should you conceive, see an OB right away. I think if a woman wants to try, she should. Like any woman trying to conceive, a back-up plan for life after ttc and a rationalized end date should help in coping with the fertility roller coaster.

I only get these cramps every other hour or day sometimes and they only last about 15 secs after that I feel fine.

It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. If you have more than 4 cramps an hour, you should call your OB ASAP. That is what the OB nurse told me on Friday when I was having contractions showing on the monitor, although I didn't feel them.

To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

*Severe* cramping isn't normal during pregnancg.. I have horrendous menstrual cramps but I've never cramped at all when I'm pregnant. It would be worth calling your dr and seeing if they want you to come in.

sometimes they can be strong and others not and sometimes they last long and other times they go away. it feels like those cramps when your about to get your period. I don't know if these are Braxton hicks or contractions because I m a ftm. has anyone been through this. uhhhhh its so uncomfortable.
