Avatar f tn Has anyone had menstrual like cramping in the third trimester? Could the pain be related to dilating? I have had constant cramps every day this week and so tired of it.
Avatar f tn although I feel all the "symptoms" of the third trimester I'm on my 26 weeks. This app is all of a sudden said today in the middle of my 26th week that I'm in my 3rd trimester today, I don't want to fight the good news because all the joys of the second trimester like energy has gone so I FEELS like I'm in my third trimester..it just seems a big early to join the club. Why is there no certainty about when it starts? Who on this planet has the real answer?
Avatar f tn These irregular uterine contractions are perfectly normal and may start to occur in your second trimester, although more commonly in your third trimester of pregnancy. They are your body's way of getting ready for the "real thing.
Avatar f tn Very normal. I felt like I had menstrual cramps for the first two months. It's unpleasant, but it will stop until about the third trimester.
Avatar f tn My dr said to call her if I have cramps and feel like my tummyis getting super tight and hard four times in an hour... and this goes on for at least two hours. I've been having cramps and tightening but nothing too regular.
Avatar f tn Dehydration can play a part in the cramping..
Avatar f tn SNAP I have done a lot of reading and it would seem it is just everything preparing to hold he womb and baby completely normal :) x
Avatar f tn Since I'm 30 weeks in my third trimester I really don't know what to expect (My first child) with things including doctor visits since they are twice a week now, or how I will be feeling, biggest question of all how will I know when I'm in labor?! I've read contractions are similar to menstrual cramps but worse, but... I've never really had cramps throughout my cycles so if my water doesn't break how will I know when to go in the hospital or not?!
11356079 tn?1421357818 Anyone have menstrual like cramps and back pain when nearing or in the third trimester? This didn't happen with my other pregnancies. It has been happening for 4 days, no bleeding...but when I called my OB the attendant seemed unsure and said "probably normal"...I've never gone into labor, I've always been induced so I don't really know exactly what natural labor feels like.
Avatar f tn What to expect in third trimester, no sleep, can't get comfortable, hip pain, constapation, no energy, Hungry, my morning sickness came back with a vengeance! I can not wait for labor, even though it definitely hurts. It means a end to all this madness lol.. good luck hope your pregnancy is going better than mine..
Avatar f tn re a perfectly normal part of pregnancy and can begin to occur as early as the second trimester, although they usually occur more commonly in the third trimester of your pregnancy; also, not every pregnant woman will experience them. Braxton Hicks contractions are your body’s way of getting ready for actual labor. Initially they may be scary, especially as their intensity increases near the end of the pregnancy and you're not sure if it's the real deal or not.
Avatar f tn im not in the third trimester yet but im close, im 25 weeks and still getting sick.
170623 tn?1242664063 I had cramping and stretching feelings every day in my first trimester and off and on during the second. They never lasted too long, and were never strong cramps, but noticeable and did make me worry. But, I've heard it's perfectly normal! It's stopped in my second trimester. I feel little cramps now and then but def. not as much. Hope this helps to ease your mind. I wouldn't worry unless they are heavy, long-lasting cramps with spotting.
Avatar f tn anyone seem to find the third trimester is very similar to the first. I know not all people have it bad as my first two pregnancies were completely different but I feel like I did at the very beginning with this one. I'm constantly sick again and literally going to the bathroom every half a hour. the only difference is I have a huge watermelon sized stomach so it makes those two tasks hard to do.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else had cramps, like menstrual cramps, throughtout the entire first trimester? I never had this when I was pregnant with my first 2 pregnancies, constant cramps, pains, and nausea 24/7. Does it ever stop?
1173196 tn?1292916490 And tell your midwife what is going on just in case. But having painful BH in the third trimester is normal unless they become too frequent, your water breaks or the mucus thingie which protects the baby comes out. Those are actual signs of labor. Gee...I REALLY was paying attention to what I was reading last night lol...

Avatar f tn s because the uterus is stretching and as long as its not bad cramping like menstrual Pain. Its quiet. Normal for the first trimester of pregnancy. just lay down and don't lift anything heavy if theres bleeding go to the ER.
Avatar f tn I had really bad cramps in the first trimester my midwife said that it was just my ligaments stretching as my uterus grows but talk to your midwife about it or doctor. Could also be constipation? ?
