Avatar n tn I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?
Avatar f tn Congrats, best if luck with labour. Was your menstrual cramps hectic?
7450032 tn?1396631975 I'm 31 weeks 4 days and I've been having this really bad back pain that feels like menstrual cramps. I also get the same pain in my lower abdomen as well but it's consistent. There is no rhythm to it so I don't know what to make of it. It hurts pretty bad at times then at others not so much and it's lasted about a week now. My baby is moving just fine and I'm not spotting or anything. I'm a ftm so this is all new to me. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

Avatar f tn Thank you! It comes on like a strong cramp and I get dizzy or nauseous and then I'm fine like 2 minutes later. And it happened a few times before but happened off and on all day today... I guess if it continues I'll call the doc tomorrow.
Avatar f tn I had the same problem. Switching sleeping positions or recruiting your partner for a back rub can really help! Watch your posture when sitting up. Also a hot water bottle or heating pad feels great (just like with menstrual cramps). If you don't have one, use an old dish soap bottle and fill with hot water, or take a pouch or old sock and fill with rice, close, knot and heat in the microwave for a couple minutes.
290018 tn?1240365868 I have been having what seems to feel like tiny light cramps in my lower back. Has anyone else had this and found out they were pregnant?
Avatar f tn Tylenol and back rubs help. Those heated pads would probably help also. They were good at relieving menstrual cramps..remember those?
2026433 tn?1337650833 It could be back labor so keep an eye on it and go in to labor and delivery if you think you need to. They will beable to tell you what it is.
Avatar f tn Has anyone else had cramps, like menstrual cramps, throughtout the entire first trimester? I never had this when I was pregnant with my first 2 pregnancies, constant cramps, pains, and nausea 24/7. Does it ever stop?
Avatar f tn Why do the cramps hurt so bad?
Avatar f tn Am 33 weeks and been having menstrual cramps on and of can this be contraction first pregnancy help!
Avatar f tn I am 35 weeks tomorrow with baby #1. Been having menstrual like cramps in my lower back and lower belly/pelvic area. It started not last night, but the night before. Occasionally it gets painful and sharp pains spread up towards my belly button. When they aren't the sharp pains that go up higher, it's just a dull ache like the period cramps. But the cramps have been pretty constant for the past hour or so. I know I'm not in labor yet, but could this the beginning signs?
Avatar f tn m 34 weeks with terrible lower abdominal cramps like some of the worst menstrual cramps you can imagine. The pressure is intense. Back pain constantly. I'm so gasy I cannot stand myself. Feeling bloated. The pressure and cramps make me catchy breath when walking or standing. Normal? Not normal?
5609181 tn?1375332372 I had back labor with both pregnancies. It was like menstrual cramps that wrapped around my pelvis and came in waves. If you're getting menstrual like cramps that are consistent, it's always a good idea to get checked.
8026978 tn?1396325900 HEY . IM 36 WEEKS & 5DAYS , HAVE ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCE MENSTRUAL LIKE CRAMPS BEFORE LABOR ?
Avatar n tn Been having menstrual cramps/ Braxton hicks since 2 I think my baby will be here later on tonight. Or tomorrow morning...I labor for 22hrs +. Every 20 minutes I have menstrual back pain!
Avatar f tn I will be 21 weeks tomorrow and for the past two weeks or so, I've been having menstrual-like cramps. They don't come at any particular time, and like period cramps, it hurts in my lower abdomen and back. Are these Braxton Hicks? Why am I experiencing this?
4193337 tn?1355698372 I'm 23 weeks and I have been havinf menstrual like cramps on and off all day. Its not from stretching...I feel like I am about to starr my period... never had this with my son. Anyone else have this?
Avatar f tn When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.
Avatar f tn t so strong at first just strong we enough for me not to sleep at all. I would pace back in fourth and get in the tub. Then once I calculated my contractions to be about 5 minutes apart I contacted my OB since it was already the morning. And she admitted me to labor and delivery. But if you feel something is wrong always go to er or call your on if they are opened.
Avatar f tn I have never had muscle spasms occur on the right of the spine in my back in the past; they have always stayed to the left and on the center of the lower spine. No further spasms have been felt on the left side of the spine since the block. The sore, aching, and rigid muscles on the left seem to be a residual effect of the typically constant muscle spasms and stabbing nerve pain that have remained in the area since the original presentation of my severe chronic pain symptoms back in 2018.
Avatar f tn kmartin, yes you should. My labor was ALL menstrual cramps. your_lovely, start timing the pain.
