Avatar n tn As a member of an EPO, you can use the doctors and hospitals within the EPO network, but cannot go outside of the network for care. So there are no out-of-network benefits other than life threatening emergencies. PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization which allows you, as a member, to visit whatever in-network physician or healthcare provider you wish without first requiring a referral from a primary care physician.
518117 tn?1429276273 I lost my case due to the fact that I did not have enough medical evidence to support my claim. Cannot have medical evidence if you do not have health insurance. We lost our health insurance about 6 months after I filed my claim. Anyway, life is going to have to go on. And I cannot wait around more years fighting a disability case I probably cannot win. I do have trouble leaving my home at times, due to my mental issues. Plus, now with COPD I have greatly slowed down in number of areas.

Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". 790496 tn?1315615657 NO, you don't have to tell them unless of course your disability is obvious and you need accomodations up front. If will go the ADA pages, they will provide a more complete answer. I didn't qualify for health insurance due to another medical condition and it did not affect my employment status. My employer knows because of the extended absences needed an explanation.
1600479 tn?1318527069 As long as the insurance company doesn't specify a waiting period, or lists that they do not cover maternity or prenatal appointments then you should be fine to go see a doctor. Most companies however will only cover a higher percentage of the costs through their own list of providers. If you choose to go to a provider that is not in their "network", then you will most likely pay a higher co-pay and more out of pocket costs in the end.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
Avatar f tn I didn't tell them until I was there a month. My supervisor told me to not tell anyone so no one at work found out besides her until I was 7 months.
