Avatar n tn I am 56. Recent testosterone count 483. Count too high for testosterone therapy. My sex drive was very low, "just didn't care" and no night time erections. I avoided having sex with my wife. Soft erections that I and my wife worked on...got hard and had good sex. A cousin suggested Maca root. I have been taking raw powdered Maca root for 30 days. Its has done wonders.

Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar f tn That's great information. Thanks for posting here. I think that will help a lot of people. We have a men's health forum you should check out too as I bet you can help a lot of people there as well.
Avatar n tn run at 6mph for 2 minutes then run at 3mph or rest for 2 minutes) will be more effective in losing weight than if I ran or walked at a steady pace.Is there any truth to this>?
492936 tn?1244651570 The most interesting thing to me was about the whole milk. Apparently hormones are in milk. Estrogen is in the fat - testosterone in the skim part. Drinking skim instead of whole gives you more testosterone and we women need estrogen for a healthy pregnancy - that is why you should eat whole milk, regular ice cream etc. Other than the milk part I didn't get much from it.
Avatar f tn I already posted this as "Needing a diagnosis" in Men's Health. It's probably better in Undiagnosed Sx. Needing a diagnosis by captainleads, 29 minutes ago I'm a 25 year-old +male with symptoms of insomnia irritability with frequent alternating symptoms of “hot and cold” sweating and freezing. I have a hot temper but it's usually related to feeling lousy. I've had this for 3 or 4 years possibly longer!
