Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.

927707 tn?1244133034 I live in New Jersey and my husband and I need affordable health insurance. He owns his own business and we are paying close to $900 dollars a month for doctor visits, hospital, prescriptions, laboratory, diagnostics etc. We currently have United Health Care/ Oxford. We did have Cobra when I left my job, but that was too expensive $1300.00/ month. With our Cobra we didn't need referrals, but with Oxford we need referrals. Our copay is $30.00 for doctor visits and $50.00 for specialist.
Avatar m tn When it comes to your health, I recommend frequent doses of that rare commodity among Americans—common sense. Back of every creation, supporting it like an arch, is faith. Enthusiasm is nothing: it comes and goes. But if one believes, then miracles occur.
Avatar m tn Hello~I am requesting that this post be transferred to men's health, they will be able to help you better.
Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
393685 tn?1425812522 So on a serous note: Well, since I wrote that post / poll last month on what we need to do for awareness, I guess I should try something. I just hit 'send' to the editor of a national fitness and health magazine. Its based in St Paul Mn, my state. January is past due for any national publisher, but hopefully I'll soon find out, if their interested in the near future. Will keep you posted on what they say.
Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
Avatar f tn Hello~You will probably get more help in the men's health forum, I have put a request in for you for this post to be transferred there.
387294 tn?1207620185 My son and daughter may be looking for health insurance after they leave college and are no longer dependents. My daughter has been diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic heart valve. She has a healthy heart and it is working well. With this impact her chances to get health insurance on her own? Will it impact our ability to continue her insurance after the cobra period is over on our insurance?
Avatar m tn You would definitely want to ask your doctor that question. I saw an article in a medical magazine in a hospital waiting room that said that the sperm are a bigger factor in health of a baby than previously realized. Smoking, drinking, poor sleep, poor diet, high stress, and toxins all take a toll on sperm, weakening them. I think it's a great question and worth researching.
