Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.
Avatar m tn You need to post this in Men's health. You have already been tested and came up negative for std's. That means this is not an std issue.
211940 tn?1267881266 >>...Social Security Disability, at the beginning of May, so I should get my first SSD check, this month (June). must be different in KS than in NV...that is to say, the wait period between SSD approval and a check in the mail. when we get approved here, we have to wait 5 months before a check is sent. after that 5 month wait period, then the 24 month medicare wait period starts. as for medicare: it is the same here, 24 month wait after the SSD wait period. To answer your Q?

789820 tn?1315448513 Before I say anything, I want to add that I had what was considered "surgery" when all 4 wisdom teeth were removed in October 2009. My top wisdom teeth were impacted into the sinus cavity, the oral surgeon said it was a success and there was no complications, but for 2 months after the surgery I had a nasty infection, which has since caused me to get sinitus on a daily basis) I've been so physically ill or sick in my life.
672839 tn?1305792947 Its just that one of the main goals regarding mental health care which was national mental health parity was passed by George Bush as part of the tax incentive act and will go into effect in January 2010. There might be more issues though and there certainly are statewide issues but those differ from state to state. You might find out more by contacting your local independent living center and asking what is on their agenda. http://www.silcga.org/CIL_List.htm Thanks for being involved.

Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
