Avatar m tn Elevating your testosterone to normal levels improves cholesterol, heart and bone health--so I am told. I suggest you discuss it with your doctor. If you are concerned about a low sex drive or erectile dysfunction it will also help that. I wish you well.

Avatar n tn You can get reinfected form your partner if you are sexually active and in that case both of you should get checked and treated simultaneously, or abstain from sex till you are cured fully if your partner is not infected. You can also get reinfection, if you are living in a mold infested house. You have to keep your private parts dry and ensure that the clothes you wear are also clean and dry. Living in a moist environment can also lead to recurring fungal infection.

Avatar n tn But, the trouble with supplements is that you can overdose very esily, unless used judiciously or prescribed by a doctor. For instance, Viatmin A and E are easily available from our daily food and being fat soluble, they get stored in our tissues and overdosing is very easy. I do not know, why the Companies are packing such easily availble vitamins along with some other difficult to get nutrients like zinc, omega3 or B12. So, while taking supplements, always do consult the doctor.
Avatar m tn Certainly if it can be heard by another person besides himself, he should drop into the ER and have the doc take a listen and do some diagnosis.
Avatar n tn I think if it was your appendix, when that lets go you will know about it, been there and dont want to go there again, and if the pain is down that low I think the gallbladder would be out of it. You need to have a think of what you were doing just before the pain come on, if you were straining then it could just be muscles? Been to a doctor yet, let him have a poke around.

Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well.

Avatar m tn Hi Motorspear: Although this is a great community and it deals with pain, I think your question might be better answered by the "Men's Health Forum". I'm sure that you're not the only one with this problem and other men that post in the Men's Health Forum might be better suited to answer this question. I hope that you find the answer your looking for. Others may post as the day goes on and you might get your anwer here...you never know.
Avatar m tn You need to post this in Men's health. You have already been tested and came up negative for std's. That means this is not an std issue.
Avatar n tn Some of the things you've mentioned are considered "old wives tales", there is no medical fact to them. I'm sorry you're being scared for no reason. Everything else you've mentioned is quite normal for a young man. There are books out there to help you learn more about slowing down and how to satisfy your wife. I do believe there is also a "mens health" forum here. You can click on "forums" at the top of the page and then scroll down.

Avatar f tn Hi all! I had posted something in Men's health related to this issue last week but now that it seems to becoming a little more clear that it's not a men's health thing and a general health thing I thought I'd post here. My general question is this: When I touch my chin to my chest I feel a very quick numbness in my lower right butt cheek near the Ischial tuberosity. It only lasts for a quick minute and then goes away.
