We have tried the same blood specimen with other 2 4th gen. Test as what the WHO new testing algorithm says. We used sysmex hiscl antigen antibody combo and Vidas Hiv Duo Ultra and the results were negative. We have also done pcr test and no virus was detected. The doctor said it was a false positive result.
After 6 weeks without any exposure we tried again with the architect and still it was reactive but the others were still negative.
Test results for the IGG HSV 2 was 1.00 (equivocal). This was 4+ months after last sexual encounter. No symptoms. Should a retest be done??!?

So I went to private clinic they test me with blood test and rapid test. One of rapid test was positive and one was negative and then 3 days later blood test came back negative. It can be normal, yes. Sometimes doctors like to use a blood test called FibroSure. That's what I had before I started treatment. FibroSure is a biomarker test that uses the results of six blood serum tests to generate a score that is correlated with the degree of liver damage in people with a variety of liver diseases. The FibroSure test has the same prognostic value as a liver biopsy.
Possible to have HIV and just find out now...yes but you would be very sick and your 7 week test would have picked it up. Since you didn't have a risk, your questions do not pertin to you.

I go scared that this may be ARS and so decided to test again at 51 days. But what has scared me most is that the lab has asked me to submit the blood sample again as they wanted to do the test on one more machine as per their protocol.

I have read that there has never been a single reported case of transfusion transmitted infection since NAAT was introduced and this is simply because RNA HIV test is part of their testing algorithm. If I remember right you previously said that you confirmed your last fibro-blood test with Fibroscan and both of them showed you are in F3. Or you never confirmed your fibro-blood F3 with Fibroscan?
If you decide to repeat the test then go and repeat it at different clinic.
They found a polyp in my gallbladder. The person that did the test as well as my doctor told me not to be concerned. Of course I am concerned. I have done a lot of reading and the word Cancer always makes it way into the topic. I am taking that since they told me not to be concerned that the actual polyp is small in size? I am going to see my doctor in a month or so. What should I ask him? Should I ask for periodic ultra-sounds or have the polyp removed?
