Avatar f tn So I googled if I could eat oysters and it said cooked are fine! I bought some and just barely ate two, then all of a sudden my son started moving a lot and then my side hurt! Idk if it's from him moving or what!? Should I be worried? Or is it just a coincidence?
Avatar m tn Since I traveled to different countries, and have also taken antifungals and antibiotics, I still have problems. All tests come back negative. I did read somewhere that if there are whitish pieces that it could be parts of parasites coming out in the diarrhea. I haven't had that description. Have you traveled? Have you eaten shellfish or raw oysters? Just curious.
Avatar m tn It sounds like you may be having some work problems. That can cause stress and the memory problems too.
Avatar f tn I have the exact problem. I have ADHD. I dont remember a lot before the age of 13, from then I had to mostly relearn everything I had learned in my younger years. Now I find it hard to remember anything I read, listen to, or try and study. I feel lost and confused since I am only 19 with this type of problem.
Avatar n tn One is if you have hypothyroid or Hashimoto's disease, which both mean your thyroid gland is not producing enough hormone, and thus you can get that collection of problems. So, visiting an endocrinologist and getting your thyroid tested is how to find out if it's your thyroid doing all this to you. Two is if you are taking some sort of medication that is giving you these as side effects, so you would review any drug you're on and see if you need to have it changed.
676143 tn?1312941771 So does anyone else have problems with memory lately? I feel like the baby is sucking my brain away. I keep forgetting so many little things. Luckily, it hasn't gotten me in to too much trouble yet - but one of these days I am going to forget something really important!
1260255 tn?1288654564 I've read people mentioning memory problems, but have not seen one type of memory problem discussed. Do any of you have problems where your memory does not store information? There are numerous occasions when I have absolutely no recall of conversations. This happened several weeks ago when my son called me at work. He told me that the grill was corroded at the bottom. I have no recall of this whatsoever, but his girlfriend was sitting next to him and vouches for him.
Avatar f tn I have FM for over 12 years now, I've read numerous books, I belong to the National Fibromyalgia Network, The Fibromyalgia Association, and follow the latest research on many aspects of FM. These include, medical and pharmaceutical research. There is NO evidence that people with FM have brains that age faster. There is a neurological aspect to FM that can affect our brains. Our neurotransmitters may not be firing right to put it simply.
Avatar f tn Not that I would wish any one on this post, especially you Dave, to have memory problems, but at least I feel more assured that it is normal. Thanks for responding.
Avatar m tn And I feel like I have forgotten everything I spent the past 3-4 years paying to learn ! I was an honours student in undergrad and never had memory problems before. I am also having huge problems concentrating on what people are saying to me. It's like I am not listening no matter how hard I try to listen my brain wanders off into zombie land. And I am only 29. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to regain one's memory and concentration ?
1847035 tn?1327274923 chinese food is fine as long as you dont get it from a food court, make sure they make it for you freshly, if its sitting in a bain-marie thats when it can cause problems, like wise deli meats and salads that you get from your supermarket, sushi's a no no, as the post above said, I dont know if I would even bother with the vegarian either, deep sea/large fish should be limited because of the mercury, other fish is fine, they reccomened 2 serves per week, soft cheeses and unpasturised milk is
Avatar f tn shrimp is ok, its more of the deep sea ocean fish that has high mercury levels, if you can make sure you buy them green (raw) and cook yourself, rather than from the deli part of your supermarket where they may have been sitting for a couple of days.
Avatar f tn Yupp! You should be fine! they don't have a high even of mercury.. It's some fish.. Oysters.. Shark eat. That you should be worried about they have high mercury... Never have Oysters!
Avatar f tn Am I the only one craving things I can't have. I want raw oysters, feta cheese, a margarita, and a tattoo right now!!!!!!
Avatar f tn also stay away from raw fish (sushi), raw oysters, and high mercury fish like swordfish, tuna, mackerel etc... You can have a caffeine but you shouldn't have too much, like one cup a day is just fine. Your pretty much okay to eat anything else you want and if there's some stuff I'm missing I'm sure other mommies will mention it. BTW congratulations!!
414131 tn?1202530891 I am experiencing various problems mostly with memory. I am 49 and was diagnosed a year ago with diabetes. My A1C was 6.5. I was very tired. I could fall asleep at the drop of a hat. All I had to do is sit down and start to relax. My brain was not working so well either. My memory was becoming almost a thing of the past. I was having what I call random access bad sectors. It would strike randomly and I never knew if I would recover what I just forgot.
804276 tn?1480858056 i have had really bad memory problems for most of my life and was wondering if my conditions could cause this. i have points in my life, many, that i just don't remember at all and they aren't bad situations. everything from what i ate yesterday to a family member coming to visit from out of town, years ago, but i don't remember it ever happening. i'm so afraid of alzheimers when i get older but i don't think my memory problems fits alzheimers.
1399170 tn?1333845258 Hi, My name is Mike, and I'm 15 years old. For the past few years I have been experiencing memory problems. I don't forget serious things like names, just small things like homework, things I've said a few days before, even things I ate on the same day sometimes.
