Avatar n tn Black mold (the nasty stuff) has been discovered in my husband's office. For over a 1 1/2 years now he's been having all kinds of different issues that no one has been able to say what is causing the problems. Racing heart, panic attacks and depression although he doesn't feel depressed. Severe headaches, fatigue, stomach issues, diahrea, shortness of breath, changes in his personality that he can't explain. Loss of memory. And many others. Yet they find no cause..........

Avatar f tn lethargic, nausea, lightheaded, headaches, memory loss, unable to eat certain food groups like meat or dairy without stomach issues, heart palpitations, possible vertigo, easy bruising, and balding. Avatar n tn These appear to be due to side effects of depakote like tremors, nausea, headaches, drowsiness, vomiting, and dizziness, flu symptoms like fever, chills, blurred vision, and nervousness and coordination problem. One may also have memory loss, ringing in the ears, etc. you need to however check up with an otolaryngologist to rule out an ENT cause for these symptoms where mold could cause sore throat, earaches and spinning too. Hope this helps. Take care.
Avatar f tn s mostly related to black mold, which is different from the green mold you find on food. There are different species of mold, black being the worst. The black mold found in my home (and millions of others) are primarily in the toilets and the washing machines, their growth is simply inevitable because there is usually a constant water source. My advice may not help you very much, but may help in preventing the allergy at home.

Avatar n tn I have visual snow, and cognitive problems. I have memory loss and fell disoriented at times. I am also making stupid mistakes, almost like I am an air head. I feel like my IQ has decreased. I graduated with honors from a top university and now, I have trouble remembering everything I did yesterday. I am not sure if it is the mold or what. I guess I'm looking to find out if there is any cure, or what I need to do.
Avatar m tn re in an alcohol/substance related group - memory loss can be associated with drinking. It can be associated with many other things, too - from different medications, mental or cognitive health conditions, and even sometimes stress. I think it is very important that you speak to a doctor who can survey your health & lifestyle profile to work with what is known - and other factors that may not be known.

Avatar f tn This does not have any long term complications. The person just needs support from family members and has to learn to live with the memory loss. Memory loss is also a common symptom of frontal lobe injury. Damage to the frontal lobe of the brain causes frontal encephalomalacia. Encephalomalacia is not an illness. It is basically a softening of the brain matter as a result of an ischemia or infarction, degenerative changes, infection, craniocerebral trauma, or other injury.

Avatar f tn I was working at a nursing home in June for three months and through that period of time I began to develop different symptoms. Short term memory and long term memory loss. Mood swings, shortness of breath and paranoid spells. One night I had a high fever, horrible headache and notified a rash developing ion my arms and legs. At first I thought maybe chicken pox but so I went to minor emergency. The doctor said nothing and told me to go home and put some cream on it.
