Avatar m tn Sorry Hi, My question really is about memory loss. I am only 24 years and I feel like I am too young to be experiencing this kind of memory loss; I don't know what you want to call it but I just think maybe it's getting worse? I always had a little hard time remembering things but recently I think it has reached a level now where it is impacting me and my surrondings. Avatar f tn But persistent and progressive memory loss could be due to causes like medical and psychological conditions, trauma, medications, alcohol/drug abuse and infections. And do get adequate sleep; it’s supposed to improve cognitive functions. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I can understand your concern. A couple of questions--How long has this memory loss been going on, that she can't remember having taken a shower? And how long ago did she see a doctor, and what tests if any did they do when she saw him/her? If she hasn't seen a doctor lately, since she seems worse today than she has been in the past, I would call and see if the doctor can see her today. Many different conditions can cause memory problems (including alcohol and/or other drug problems).
