Avatar m tn ve never gotten an after effect. I know I suffered from a memory loss at a young age because I blacked out most of my youth from 8 - 17. Nowadays, which is only 5 years later I can hardly remember what I did last night, what I ate at yesterday's breakfast. In the past few months I've been unemployed and I am not sure if these are common signs of depression but I lost most of my friends, and I rarely leave the house.
Avatar n tn I am willing to lose some of my memory fro the past in order to better enjoy and plan my future. I consider most memory loss as a cognitive thing and it is definitely a physiological and psychological thing. Bipolar plays a part but it would take me all night to explain why but a lot of it is nature vs nurture.
Avatar m tn I assume I am to young for Prostatis however from a young age I have always had at times weak bladder and difficulties emptying bladder(plenty of shakes at the urinal) The testicular pain is the new and the one that was most concerning. I will also pose these questions to my doctor.
Avatar n tn swings of hashis the elevated thyroid hormones could very well have accelerated the bone loss. Some bone loss is natural as we age. We all cannot maintain the bone density of a medium framed 25 yr old (what they base the test scores on) I just received the results of a recent Dexascan. My hip density actually improved but my lumbar L1-L4 had some minimal loss - go figure! I was happy to see some improvement but also bummed about the lumbar. Drat!
192055 tn?1263555537 Not having a mother and a father that couldnt look at me for a very long because I looked like her has damaged alot in my life and I have made many mistakes due to this I believe. I decided to move forward and feel blessed that I have my own family and that I pray that my daughters will have me in their lives for a very long time.

Avatar f tn Overall thickness as of right now would be inbetween a nickel and a quarter. My diet is good. I make sure I get all proper nutrients a day. I eat plenty of raw fruits and vegetables in a day and also different types of nuts like almonds. I have recently began taking a hair vitamin. And for washing I use baby shampoo. I also massage my head about twice a day to help the circulation. The only thing I can think of improving is my exercising. I'm not extrememly active.
Avatar m tn I think even if you got together, it would not work longterm. Life experience not just age would be a problem. Not for you, for her. She is young, what 25? maybe? Eventually, she would go looking for everything she missed doing with people of her own age. Sorry, I know this is not what you want to hear. You will get older, faster, not being able to keep up with her eventually. She will want children most probably, etc, etc.
Avatar n tn i am only 35 and have a child 2 years ago, i have increased memory loss and general unhappiness. Yesterday i turned on the outside water hose and forgot it and flooded the back yard and killed the fish in the pond, i forget appointments all the time and am moody and worried. I am a teacher and wonder if i will even be able to do my job this school year. What kind of doctor should i try to see, what can i do?
Avatar n tn Go to a neurologist and ask to have a neuropsych test done. it helps them determine what is causing the memory issues. All they do is a bunch of test and memory test with you to help you find out whats wrong.
Avatar m tn Sorry Hi, My question really is about memory loss. I am only 24 years and I feel like I am too young to be experiencing this kind of memory loss; I don't know what you want to call it but I just think maybe it's getting worse? I always had a little hard time remembering things but recently I think it has reached a level now where it is impacting me and my surrondings. Less than a week ago, I lost my iphone, (or so I thought) when going at the post office.
Avatar f tn Why is it that so many people tend to judge being pregnant at a young age, regardless of the situation? I'm 19, and it seems like I get so many dirty looks, and even comments about being pregnant so young.
Avatar m tn One of the most frustrating is memory loss. Memory loss can occur in most people as they age. But sometimes, memory loss can be due to circulatory problems and hormonal changes in the body. To prevent memory loss when a person has diabetes, one should change their diet to include foods with fiber, protein, and calcium that will stimulate blood flow and also help replace some of the nutrients lost. Exercise will also promote blood flow.
Avatar n tn No clue but you might want to get her checked out. That cant be good to have memory loss at 5. Hope your guys life goes up from here. All the best.
262365 tn?1268508268 I agree - 36 is young for a dr to say that maternal age has anything to do w/your m/c's. As said above, many, many women older than 36 go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies. I think you should talk to your dr about investigating different reasons for the m/c's. Putting it to maternal age seems like laziness to me. Good luck!
Avatar n tn About an hour later he suffered a brief episode (1-2 min) of short term memory loss. He could not remember the weekend holiday or do sums. Other than feeling cold he did not exhibit any physical symptoms. He had another episode about three weeks later. A neurologist examined him and found nothing but set up an EEG. He has had no other episodes. Any suggestions as to what to ask during/after the EEG or what the potential cause might be? Thank you.
Avatar m tn My friends father had a brain tumor and under went a surgery. But they could not remove a small part of it because it was very close to a main nerve. This small piece was removed by radiation. But doing this resulted in side effect like shrinking of brain leading to memory loss. He is in critical condition now. Is there any solution for this. If yes, please give that advice fast.
Avatar m tn After she stopped taking the pain medication (oxicodine) she has memory loss. At first it was little things, but now she does not know what year it is, how old she is, or that she just had surgery. She does have some memory, like she knows who me and my sister are and what she does for work. Another symptom is that she says her body is soar, like she lifted a bunch of weights. We are looking for any type of input/advise. Her doctors have been doing every test and scan.

Avatar m tn It sounds to me like you are having some normal memory issues. I'm 22 and those are things I forget about all the time. It sounds like you have had a spectacular memory your whole life, so don't let things like that worry you at this point. If it is becoming more of a habit that you turn the stove or oven on and forget about it, turn a timer on for a few minutes right after you put something on the stove or in the oven.
