Opiates should not be used in migraine, and
can cause rebound headache
. If what your headaches are are really migraines
, it's ibuprofen or prescription tryptan drugs. Sometimes certain foods are triggers for migraines
. You might want to keep a food diary and
a migraine diary, and
see if there's any correlation. Trigeminal neuralgia can also cause horrible headaches, and
is treatable with certain anticonvulsant drugs.
For the constipation and
diarrhea, increase your fiber intake.
