I have been taking 7.5mg of Meloxicam for four days and 400mg of Norfloxacin for one day. I have had an all day extremely severe headache. I have taken Meloxicam previously without getting headaches. Would this be likely caused by one of these drugs or interaction and how should I proceed please?
I'm now receiving 180 per month along with 90 cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer) per month. I also receive 30 meloxicam per month for swelling and pain. Even with all these meds I'm still in pain. My knees, my hips, and my back. Some days I can't bend over to tie my shoes and if I bend over, I can't stand back up straight. I have gone back and forth to my VA doctors, but still no relief. I am so very tired of being in pain. I have been diagnosed with depression, I suffer from PTSD.
2 months ago I requested to drop to the 10mg Oxycontin. I also have been taking Meloxicam and Cyclobenzaprine PRN. I asked my GP, who I have been seeing since early childhood and who I trust completely in medical matters, to attempt a Non-narcotic treatment plan. He took me off the meloxicam and put me on Toradol (Ketorolac) 10mg 3xDaily. Now, I have researched a bit about the drug, checking the insert and also several websites, such as Drugs.
Lol well november 2011 imaging showed anular tear and bulging at L4/L5. So at that point i started new pt and he put me on gabapentin, meloxicam and vicodin 5/500. Continued with all that for 6monyhs and only got worse!!!! I suffer from sever pain in back buttock and both legs! Numbness and weakness as well. Its been bery hard because i have 3 wonderful beatiful children and almost never am able to play with them to the extent i wish to. And my stress has put strain on my relationship.
An occasional muscle relaxant such as cyclobenzaprine may also help a bit. Wearing an abdominal binder may help to compress the seroma and help it resolve faster. I’ve also heard reports of using a diuretic (water pill) such as furosemide to speed the reabsorption, but have not resorted to this in my practice. Sorry if there’s not a whole lot to offer, but perhaps some of these ideas may help.

Hi and Welcome Tramadol Warriors, Please come on in and make yourself comfy. All are welcome.
I just saw miy primary doctor last week, and he did not send me for any tests or xrays, and said he thought I had Fibromyalgia. I was given percriptions for Meloxicam (Mobic) & Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril). Does this fit the diagnoises of Fibromyalgia, or should I ask for the xrays and other tests?
She stopped the naproxen as well as the amitriptyline and prescribed Meloxicam 15mg and (cymbalta-have not yet started). I don't feel good. I also began physical therapy and the therapist stated he believed my shoulder was due to "mechanical & systemic" and " concerned about labs & test results". What does this all add up to? should i be concerned about the lab results? Please advise opinion based on info provided. I am becoming very curious and concerned.
Neurontin, Ultram, Meloxicam, and Cyclobenzaprine with no results. I'm now on Lyrica instead of the Neurontin, and I still don't feel a difference. I hardly ever take the muscle relaxant, because all it does is make me exhausted, and I don't want to have to take any stronger medication that will throw me for a loop during the day. But at this point, I don't know what to do.
