medroxyprogesterone spotting

I was prescribed medroxyprogesterone 10mg for 3 months because I was starting to bleed daily sometimes with clots sometimes just old spotting (brown discharge)and the medicine stopped the bleeding right away, in fact the very next day. I'm worried because I haven't had a regular menstrual cycle in almost 2 months.

I was put on medroxyprogesterone to start my cycles again. I have been having regular cycles now 30 days exactly. But my only problem is that half way through my cycle I have brown spotting. Can anyone give me any advice??

So my gynecologist put me on provera/ medroxyprogesterone 10 mg which I take every day. She put me on it to stop my periods so I don't lose anymore iron. I'd like to know what other people's experiences r w this medication and should I expect to get a period or not?

t get a period for a year but did get one on aug 5 after drinking Provera (Medroxyprogesterone Acetate Tablets) It lasted 7 days .On Aug 25 I did have unprotected sex 3 times that day(sorry for tmi) and not once did we use protection.On Aug 30 I notice a pink mucus discharge .it went away but came back without the mucus (sorry again for tmi) It did last on and off 5 days.Today on the due date for my period it was all gone...Can this be my period or can i be pregnant .

Hello, I am taking Medroxyprogesterone also. I took it for 10 days and 3-4 days later spotting occured, then 2 days after AF arrived. The way I took it was before I went to bed. I've heard it has some bad effects, which was the case the first round. I did see my doctor during the first round of taking (for other reasons) and casually said that "yesterday was the last day" and she had mentioned that AF would come within 10 days.

Hi, I had my Mirena IUD removed on February 27 and the next day I started to bleed like a regular period. It has been 7 days and I am still bleeding. The problem is I was bleeding and spotting since Feb. 3. My Flow is Now Quite heavy. Has anyone else had this problem? My Dr. Suggested taking Medroxyprogesterone to stop my period and take it for 3 weeks then stop so that it helps to regulate my cycle. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thankyou.

I was prescribed Medroxyprogesterone because I was having irregular periods that either were extremely heavy and long or did not exist at all per month. I was prescribed this medicine after getting off of birth control pills with hopes to attempt to conceive with my husband. We've then decided to stop actively trying to conceive for now, but recently I am starting to think about trying again. Will continuing to take medroxyprogesterone help or hurt my chances of getting pregnant?

She is having me do some tests, but says that I more than likely have PCOS. She wants me to take Medroxyprogesterone (Provera) to get my periods regulated. I first wanted to know about side effects. Hello, I just was given a 10 day cycle of medroxyprogesterone and it has been several days since I finished taking it and I have yet to bleed! Has anyone else had this happen? I am very queezy and feel like I am going to throw up but don't actually, ever since I stopped taking the medicine. Again, no bleeding at all has occurred. I am getting worried on why that is. I went to see my gynocologist monday because I had spotting and bleeding since July 28th and ended up in urgent care that previous friday. My gyn Dr. wanted to put me on medroxyprogesterone acetate 10mg but while I was in the office they gave me a vaginal biopsy and was scheduled for a ultrasound so I wanted to get my results before I start my hormone medicine.Doctor called me the next day and said I have a non-cancerous firbroid and polyp from the biopsy results.

I have had my period for 35 days stright, I have frequent migraines not headaches, I'm feeling very weak, am having cold/hot flashes. I am just feeling the most horrible I have ever felt. Is it the birth control or could it be something else? P.S. I have two children, 2 years and three months.
