Avatar n tn He got it 2 years ago also, and cured by some medicines that time. It came again. So i rushed him to hospital where he gets treatment for diabetic monthly and there he got X-ray for neck and it says, C5 and C6 disks got reduction. Rest are normal. So he was suggested to consult a nuero surgen and he prescribed some medicins. They gave him relief for 5days. He got it again now with the same problems. Could any body explain what kind of problem it is. how to go forward?
Avatar n tn I have had vertigo because of the inner ear problem two years back. The vertigo has gone after taking medicines for about 3 weeks. I am told that people who have this problem should always see that they sleep turning to the right side or left side keeping the effected ear on top. since then i am sleeping turning my body to left side , keeping my left ear on top. Surpirsingly i did not get vertigo bout in the last one and half years.

Avatar n tn Hi, my boyfriend has been feeling dizzy, flushing of the face, light headed, and nauseated for the past 3 months straight (EVERYDAY). Out of nowhere he'll be fine & then boom it hits. He went with his Dr. & had some tests done, such as: complete blood work, renal scan, & x-rays of his chest. Everything came out to be perfect. But, he still continues w/ those symptoms. We think it might be vertigo. Oh & he has no build up of wax, hears perfectly, & no ear pain.

Avatar f tn I hate to see light at these times and usually cover up my eyes till pitch dark and try to sleep off the pain, which does ease with Flexilor SR (Lornoxicam) or Winace (Paracetamol 500 mg Aceclofenac100 mg, prescribed medication, available in India) Often, with or without headache, when I lie down at night to sleep, I suffer severe vertigo, severe when I am on my right side or if I am lying down straight but looking at the right. Looking at the left, everything is ok.
Avatar f tn I am having symptoms of either a tension headache or vertigo. I can't tell which. The symptoms include seconds of the room spinning, dull neck pain or stiffness, and pressure in my head but no an actual headache. I had a chemical stress test within the last three weeks and shortly afterwards I developed these symptoms. The symptoms have occured everyday for about two weeks and these spells happen at least 3 or 4 times in a day.

7509546 tn?1391696646 I too experienced tremors and vertigo, the vertigo only went away with physical therapy as I refused to take medicines for it because it seemed worse. But I was put on Lorazapram for anxiety I have been taking it for 3 weeks now, some days are great and other days I still have the tremors, lightheaded ect, but it's nowhere close to how it was before I was taking it. I read daily anxiety stories to help better my knowledge of what I have.
Avatar f tn I also wanted to add, that when I first stopped taking the lexapro I had horrible side effects like; vertigo, brain zaps, headaches, insomnia, head burning sensations. The vertigo went away along with most of the symptoms after about 6 weeks. I first noticed sensitivity to alcohol shortly after that. Just one beer would make my head burn. It gradually has gotten better. I think because I went off and on more meds during the past year, it has put my body into shock.
Avatar f tn The dizzy spells you are talking about is known as vertigo and vertigo is caused by an imbalance of fluids in the inner ear. See a doctor about this, there are medicines you can take for this problem. As far as being a vegetarian goes, you are growing and during this time in your life you need proteins so make sure you are getting all of the nutrients that you need.
