My advice: go to a good Gastroenterologist. First find out which doctor has a good reputation for hepatitis/liver related problems.

Avatar n tn Your creatinine is still high because you likely have chronic kidney disease from the hypertension. The Telmisartan-HCTZ that was given will not make your creatinine low, it is to treat your hypertension and prevent further damage to your kidneys. It is also possible you have some protein in your urine which the Telmisartan helps to reduce. Also, Telmisartan can cause a slight increase in your creatinine but it is usually not a very significant increase.

I have other major diseases, including diabetes, that prevent my kidney doctors from prescribing certain medicines that conflict with these other diseases.

Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the hives. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Trigeminal neuralgia needs to be considered. If the neurologist and radiologist are suspecting a cerebral aneurysm, they can confirm with cerebral angiography and clipping of the aneurysm could be done. Hope this helps. Take care.
