Non-selective beta-blockers, such as propranolol act on both types of receptors, in both heart and lungs. Propranolol and other medicines in its class are capable of evoking bronchospasm in people with asthma. Metoprolol is selective, but not entirely so; thus, asthma worsens in some people given this “selective” medicine and you may be one of them.
Your doctor may have prescribed the metoprolol for both relief of the syncope and treatment of your hypertension.
I read that (high) cholestrol is good for brain and cholestrol reducing medicines have some side-effect on brain.

My mother has high cholestrol too which was detected about 5-7 years ago when she was like 50 years old. She probably has blockage somewhere (no testing has been done yet) because she sometimes has chest pain. She also has high blood pressure, Migrane, Cervical.

But, if the cough persists despite these medicines, especially if you also have some wheeze, then you will probably need asthma medicines to control your cough and other symptoms. Eventually, you will probably have to see your doctor to sort this out.
In the meantime, consider what substances you might be allergic to in the home and workplace, substances in the house or in the heating/cooling system.

Your symptom is called polyuria (excessive frequency of voiding). It can be due to many reasons which can be physiological or disease-related, and include excessive intake of liquids, diuretic substances (including tea, caffeine, alcohol, certain drugs), anxiety, exposure to cold, diabetes mellitus, diabetes insipidus (central or nephrogenic), urinary tract infections or obstruction, etc to name a few more common ones.
The medications that have caused this so far are drugs for GERD and drugs for hypertension. I have tried just about all of them. The reaction is always the same. It starts with tiredness and then goes into a burning sensation in my chest, upper back and down my arms. It is accompanied many times by tingling through out my body. When it gets bad it is very hard to handle. I discovered that xanax is beneficial in reducing the symptoms but it doesn't completely eliminate the symptoms.
Controlling diabetes and hypertension and following good lifestyle measures can help control disease process. Regular exercise and avoiding fatty foods can help to increase the flow through the narrowed arteries. But beyond a certain level of obstruction, it may need surgical correction.

First, this would be theoretically an anxiety treatment, not a depression treatment. Second, never buy anything marketed over the internet or by TV ads. m not sure if anyone here can or will answer that question. Here our focus is on being substance free not on legal/or illegal substances that can be abused. This is really something you need to talk to a doctor about....and even if you live in non-medical marijuana state you can still talk to your doc. My hubby did way back when with no reprisals.

2X daily,and Roxicodone 30 mg 4Xdaily for over 2 years,this dosage by the way I was able to work and the pain was at a tolerable level. I have lost track of how many herniated discs I have now and the stenosis is getting worse.I was due for a refill today and was informed that as of Jan. 1,2014 only Pain management Drs, were the only who could treat chronic pain.Since I can't afford to take off from work for many months to get everything fixed,I have to go along.
I would recommend experimenting with cutting out certain foods like caffeine, sugar, large portions, etc... and see what happens. I have done this over the years and sometimes I find triggers and then later they return but in the absence of dangerous underlying causes, you may be like me and have to treat the symptons possibly for the rest of your life or just redefine your "normal" with a "new normal" that includes arrythmias. I have started suffering from both about the same time and for this reason I thought they could be related. I could find ways to manage anxiety (without recurring to medicines), but they haven't decreased my libido. Since my anxiety is under control without medicines, I am thinking of some natural medicine (if there something effective to this isssue). Do you think that Serelax or other natural medicine could address excessive masturbation?
